    Great food! The service was amazing, extremely professional and knowledgeable about the menu items. Looking forward to what’s in store in the near future! Hopefully the level of food and professionalism of the servers will carryover in the new location! We were made to feel welcomed as soon as we walked in to the time we left and never rushed! Great experience!

    Last time we dined here was five stars all around, great food, great service. This time, not so much. It was my sister in laws first time here and first time out for a girls night in a long time so we were excited to splurge based off our last experience. We took nearly 20 minutes deciding where to go based on quality and chose here. Our server was snarky and inattentive - she cut us off while speaking and kept walking away in the middle of orders. Our food was burnt and unappetizing. Two plates were left at the table nearly full when we left because they were over cooked. She offered us dessert menus and then when we went to order she said basically everything was gone. It was really just a sad time, bad experience overall.

    The food was excellent. Our salad was served and as we started to eat the salad our entrees were brought to the table. It would have been nice to have had some time to enjoy and finish our salad before the entree was served.

    The food was SO good! And they were really awesome about communicating the changes due to the move. We had Jason as our server and what a gem!! I definitely will be looking forward to the opening of the new location too! I can only imagine what a pleasure the decor will be. Excellent experience.

    Food, our waiter (Jason), and the overall vibe was chef's kiss. From the calamari appetizer, to my Salmon confit (as well as trying friends Pan Seared Scallops and Pappardelle entree's)- I could not have asked for anything better. If you have not been here - I highly recommend. We all agreed this is our new favorite spot!

    My husband and I went with, our best friends, for Father's Days celebration on Saturday, our first time there and we had a great time. We arrived at 530PM for our reservation and got seated right away. Our server was Jason and he was wonderful. To start, our friends had Cherry bombs and Stacked apple, while my husband had Frommage heirloom salad and I had a martini called morning sex; I actually had 2 of this martini because I loved it. For dinner, our friends had Lemoncello Flambe and Pasta Pie, while my hubby also chose Lemoncello Flambe and I had Pan Seared Scallops. For dessert we shared with our hubbies, my friend, had Halleluja Holy Sh*t and I had Paris made me do it. Everything was scrumptious and the restaurant has a rustic yet stylish ambience. Definitely recommend going there.. We'll be back again.

    Understood that it was a Friday night, put a drink order in then waitress came back to take our app order. About a half hour later our app comes out with was average in flavor. As we are finishing the app our drinks finally came out. At that point we asked for the check knowing it would take another 20mins. We had full intention of having a full dinner/dessert. The staff was under supported, no direction at the front of house, and workers with gloves hands touching the touch screen systems without changing gloves.

    Good food, but where is the staff??? On a moderately busy Wednesday night we had to wait close to 15 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations and there were empty tables. Two couples came in and then left while we waited to be seated. Over an hour to get two entrees and one salad served. One waitress, one bar tender, and two people in the kitchen. The staff was working very hard and were all very good, but just overmatched for the number of diners. This is a management issue, nothing negative to say about any of the hard working staff. With a bottle of wine and tip, our check was over $160 and at that price point, the service was just unacceptable.

    The food here is unremarkable and in some cases worse than that. Fried calamari was heavily breaded with a tasteless dipping sauce. Pastas are overly oily. Our party of four did not have one dish that we truly enjoyed. For a restaurant with these prices and an ambition to be fine dining, it operates at a much, much lower culinary level.

    Best one word to describe our experience is “disaster”! We had reservations for 2 at the counter at 7:45. We stood in the doorway 10 minutes before we were even greeted. We learned while waiting that two other couples were waiting to be greeted as well. While waiting, 2 spots opened at the bar, so we ordered drinks waiting for our table. At 8:30, we still had not been called for our 2 counter seats while there were clearly 2 available. After another 15 minutes, we asked the bartender (who had been told we had a 7:30 reservation) if we could order and eat at the bar. She said, of course! This information would have been helpful earlier! Hmmmm, this is where “training” comes in. We immediately ordered salads and an our entrees. At 9:30, we told the bartender to cancel our order as we still had not received our salads. So, I can’t rate the food. The place has nice ambiance but very loud music. The bartender did say “sorry”, but was clearly not trained to perhaps offer to comp a couple of drinks which would have maybe left us with a glimmer to give the place another try, perhaps on a slower night!

    Absolutely AMAZING dinner tonight. This was by far the best dining experience my family and i have had in Syracuse. The sea bass melted in my mouth, ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a perfect crust finish. Pan seared scallops did not disappoint in the slightest. Everything about our visit here was exquisite. I will recommend Le Melange to any and everybody. Amazing.

    This place was AMAZING! When we walked in we were so excited to see how beautiful the place is as we were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary so we wanted a nice place to go. Our Waitress, Shanna (I think that’s her name) made our experience even better as she was passionate about the restaurant as well as the food and drinks. We will be back to try even more of the wonderful dishes on their menu.

    It’s one thing when the entrees are brought out immediately when you finish your appetizer, it’s another thing when you get offered the desert menu while you actually have a fork in your mouth eating the remainder of your dinner. Then to be given the check, still before you’re done eating. This restaurant didn’t even come close to their on-line promise not to rush diners. Interestingly, my flambé chicken wasn’t flambéd at the table (maybe in the kitchen, don’t know, it was delivered by bus staff). The first glass of wine we received was literally the smallest pour we’ve ever seen. The second glass ordered was twice as big, pretty much confirming that the first glass was short. All in all, quite disappointing.

    The service was horrible , menus were left on the table most of the way thru dinner. We had to ask for our dirty appetizer plates to be cleared, water to be refilled . We were one of three tables in the restaurant. It was very disappointing .

    Food was pretty good. I got the sea bass and it was not hot, but had great flavor. My boyfriend got the scallops. They were pretty small and he only got 4. He complained about the temperature and he left hungry. Our server was chatting excessively with people at the bar and our drinks were empty. I ordered a Manhattan and it took over 15 min (she was chatting.) Another server checked on us and quickly grabbed it for me. It was terrible! Way too much bitters and way too much vermouth. We were pretty unhappy with the service. It took so long to order things that we skipped dessert. We may try it again sometime but with a different server. Has potential.

    We had reservations for 7:30 and we arrived early, after assisting guests ahead of us we were greeted and told they were cleaning a table for us. After about 15 minutes the hostess came back and seated us. The hostess seemed very overwhelmed and trying to accomplish many tasks alone. We were offered water when we sat down and our waitress Stephanie came over and asked us for drink orders. We hadn’t decided yet so she came back, we both ordered a martini from the drink menu. Our drinks took a while to be brought to our table by a bartender and they were half full. $12 for a half full martini glass? We ordered Shrimp Smokehouse for an appetizer, very delicious and for our entrees we ordered the Sea Bass and their version of their Chicken French, both very good. However, our meals took very long to come out and we were offered a complimentary cocktail each for the wait. Both full this time. We sat across from a “bar” area that housed glasses, water, wine bottles and a bottle of cleaner. Not appealing at all. Cleaning supplies should not be visible or near drinks. Overall the food is very good, the restaurant staff needs to get better at service and timeliness. We checked it out and will not return.

    This was my third time at Melange and the experience never fails. If anything it gets better. The food is excellent, but, most of all, the service is outstanding, quick, continuous, warm, professional. The feeling is that this restaurant WANTS you to have a wonderful time sat at one of its tables. Melange wears its heart on its waiters sleeves!

    Waiter never filled water, told me he didn’t know the Wi-Fi password,and served dinner Luke warm. I had a dish with lobster that was overcooked and so dry I could hardly remove it from the shell

    We ate at 6 highly-rated restaurants in Syracuse during the 4-day graduation weekend, Le Melange was hands down the best of them. From the friendly and inventive bartender to the upbeat server to delicious food, would come back to this restaurant over and over.

    The restaurant seemed overwhelmed and it didn’t help that our server was not very helpful. Menu is not gluten free friendly at all which we found surprising. Combination of Mother’s Day & SU graduation was too much for unemployment to handle. And why did the expediter have to yell at the servers constantly?
