   Fantastic food, great service and friendly staff. This virtually falls in the perfect category. We have been here a number of times and there have never been any negatives! I highly recommend it!

   We went to Le Maître De to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent, service was friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed the live entertainment. Great evening!

   The service was excellent and friendly, the food was extremely good. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely recommend it to friends and will dine there again. It's really nice to have a more upscale restaurant back in town.

   Wonderful food with such authentic recipes! Dave's careful, informative service added so much to the experience. Will definitely return for the perfect tortiere and the extraordinary lamb and can't wait to experience the rest of the menu. Enjoyed trying the local wine selection and appreciated the tasting so we could choose the best pairing.

   Had never been to the restaurant before. Was a nice surprise for Penetang. :) Everything was very appetizing and delicious. Am planning on going back and recommending it to my friends.

   We were greeted by David, the owner & maitre D who seated us & gave us a warm introduction to his restaurant,as well as his family history of the area, from many generations back. He comes by the French Canadian cuisine quite honestly from a large Fr Cdn family who passed down some old family recipies which he brings to the menu of his restaurant. He was very helpful in choosing our wine. Some very good wines on the menu, which you can sample before you order. Our waitress who served our meal was very attentive & kind, ensuring our food was to our liking. We will definitely return again. Would love to try the tourtière!

   Food was well prepared and came out hot, which isn't always the case. good variety. Service was very good and friendly.

    We went prior to the Theatre, for dinner. We were late for our reservation but had called ahead to let them know. There was not a problem when we arrived. My only complaint was that we were seated at the very back, right by the kitchen door, although the front of the restaurant was totally empty. We thought a large party must be coming in, but that did not happen. The food was wonderful. I had the Rack of Lamb and my friend had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The bannock and bread were great, too. The wine list was fine for us as it offered enough choices. For dessert, we had the berry crepes with whipped cream. The crepes were not warm, as I thought they should have been--but a minor detail. We really would have enjoyed Cherries Jubilee or Crepes Suzette, if they should find their way onto the menu. The service was generally quite good, but became a little scarce as the meal progressed, just when we needed to start getting ready to leave for the show. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely return if we are able.
