   It was a bit strange. We were the only group there, somehow no one else came. May be new management is not up to speed yet. But the for was very good, well made and presented, no problems at all. Wine list is a bit lacking, do not expect much. But the food was totally all right, everyone loved appetizers and main course.

   We were only 2 in the restaurant and the volume of the music was blasting! unnecessary. At one point, in the back, someone turned the radio on all the way up, so we were between two very high noise, terrible.

   Of the many good French restaurants in DC area, this has to be one of the least pretentious. Friendly service, great food!

   Cafeteria-quality food at restaurant price. Quality of Caeasar salad was similar to what you buy in an airport (to go). Ordered medium steak and it was overdone (overcooked and chewy, it seemed reheated). Mussels were not cleaned before cooking, and turned inedible. Pizza for the kids was ok. Service: the hostess was not wearing a mask, wearing earbuds while taking the order. We could also see two cooks behind the counter, both of them with masks pulled down the entire time, etc.

   Great food! Everyone loved their meal, the spices and exotic flavors. An eclectic menu so lots of choices! Great service, everyone was friendly and helpful to each other, I think the ambiance can be improved by making it more intimate, but the food was delicious. Roselyn

   My husband had the Duck Confit and he called it “rich and satisfying “ and I had the kidneys that were tender and served over a tasty potato gratin covered with a delicious if a bit salty brown sauce. The Île Flottante custard was thicker than usual but pleasant with a lovely sweet meringue topping.

    This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. Two of the diners ordered overly priced steak and received liver. Instead of preparing a new plate, they just took off the liver from the plate and put on a steak. The steak was almost raw. The bread was still frozen in the middle. They didn’t know how to make a Manhattan which took 20 minutes to arrive. The “gazpacho” was watery. How is that possible? The idea that this was remotely French is ridiculous except that we are on the same planet. There are so many good French restaurants nearby, clearly the other reviews on google are made up or written by the owners friends and family. Do Not Waste Your Time and Money! 🤢

    One hour and forty five minutes until our lunch entree arrived only after inquiring directly to the kitchen. Waitress seemed new,so wasn’t her fault, but little in way of explanation or apology from the kitchen. Restaurant was far from busy; only one other party was seated in the restaurant. It was 1pm on a Thursday.

    I really wanted to like this restaurant. We went there for Sunday brunch and had a reservation for 11 am. We were the first - and only - customers. It took 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee and a cocktail. Only then was our food order taken. Ten minutes after placing our order the server told us that they were out of quiche, which 2 people in our party of 3 people ordered. It was another 40 minutes before our food appeared. Instead of the quiche, I had the Crabmeat Provencale crepe. One crepe for $19.50 that had a scant tablespoon of crabmeat and the rest of the filling was capers and olives. So many capers! We also ordered a pastry basket ($16) for the table. That came 10 minutes after the rest of our food. The four so-called croissants were mushy and bready, not really croissants at all. When the server spilled the bottle of water, knocking my husband's coffee into his lap, I was ready to just get up and leave. But we were really trying to have a nice brunch. The hostess offered to comp our beverages since, as she confessed, she made them herself because they were short staffed so she had to look up the recipes. I thought that the point of having a reservation was to alert the restaurant that patrons were coming to dine! With an 11 am reservation for brunch I would expect there to be staff on hand to make coffee and mix bloody mary's. When the bill came a 20% gratuity had automatically been added to the total , with a space to add an additional gratuity. This is a new restaurant and I like to support businesses that are trying to make it in these tricky times. But this was a total fail. And the mistakes made could have been avoided, new or not.

    Lovely menu. Look forward to a return visit. We ate in a “side” room inside between the main dining room and the patio and had it all to ourselves for a late weekday lunch.

    New restaurant in Tenleytown so decided to check it out. The food was very good overall. French inspired. Duck L'orange and chicken were excellent. Creme Brulee for dessert was also delicious. Some interesting organ meats such as kidney and liver which were done well. There is a 3 course price fixed menu which is a decent bargain, although much of the a la carte entrees may be priced a little bit ambitiously. Service was spotty but it seemed like the kitchen may have been understaffed that night rather than this being an issue of the wait staff. That said, the restaurant puts an automatic 20% tip on the bill which is somewhat annoying given the service issues that night.
