   Very good food. Some of the best scallops I’ve had. Amazing cocktails, too. But this experience fell flat when they were totally out of sides (a big deal with small portions), slow service, and it seems they skipped bread service for us as I saw bread baskets on other tables (this wasn’t listed as an appetizer). Would I go back? Yes. This was just one experience and the food was worth it. I just wish they had leaned into their Michelin rating a little harder.

   I’ve been to Le Jardinier many times before and I’ve always enjoyed it tremendously, but this time, the service was off and very mediocre. The cocktails were also mediocre today. Not sure why this happened to us today.

   The Michelin star must be for the ambiance. The food and the service is low quality and ruined the experience you’d expect. Don’t bother. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.

   We have dined here 6 times; previous visits have been 5/5. We drive one hour. This was Mother’s Day brunch. Food was good (desert not so much and quite limited selection). Service was awful (but wait staff was pleasant). First course took 40 minutes to arrive! It’s annoying to see tables seated after you receiving their food well before you. We weren’t comped anything. The DJ was a nice touch. The restaurant was getting quite warm by 2:30 pm. I won’t be back for brunch but would consider dinner again.

   This restaurant has consistently met my expectations of food and service standards. Top. I have returned over the years and it has never let me down. Continue to do what you do and I will keep coming back. I am grateful to have a food space like this one in the city. Thank you!

   We had the specials, 2 chicken and a cod. Chicken was juicy and nice portions; cod was tasty but snack size. I realize supposed to be slow casual meal, but exceptionally slow service. I would return; but not a starred restaurant.
