French with a twist! Le Garage is a true family affair reflecting Catherine & Rachel’s lifelong relationship with food. Serving a culmination of Catherine’s recipes & inspirations rooted in French cuisine & spiced with flavors from her travels around the world. This mother-daughter team is happy to open in Bushwick, Brooklyn a casual chic restaurant where their shared love for great food & hospitality can be realized.
The menu is a seasonal affair where produce is sourced locally. The dishes are replicas of Catherine’s recipes, created by her over the years at her many restaurants such as La Laiterie Sainte Clotilde, Le Sept/Quinze, Chez Graff and Le Café de Mars in Paris, as well as Le Mistral & South Park Café in San Francisco.
Her daughter Rachel, who grew up in her mother’s restaurants, & has worked in a number of top NYC food establishments is bringing her organizational know-how & as an Interior Designer, her artistic sensibility.

Absolutely loved it! The service was impeccable and the food outstanding. Will definitely go back. The chicken was one the best I’ve ever had - anywhere!!!

I discovered Le Garage about a month ago and have been back 4 times now. I love this place! The space is attractive and modern, and also has outdoor seating on a quiet street. The owner and chef are a French mother/daughter team, and the French inspired cuisine is delicious and artfully presented. Their roast chicken for two is the best I've ever had in NYC, and the classic dishes such as the braised leeks and foie gras terrine are spot on. A recent Sea Bass dish was also about as good as it gets . I don't think Le Bernardin could have done better on that dish. One night I was with two very picky people who manage high end restaurants in Manhattan, and they raved about the fish as well. The wine list is limited, but it is carefully chosen. All the wines I've had have been excellent and priced reasonably. The service is friendly and every night I've been one or both of the owners have been there in the kitchen and/or working the dining room. It reminds me of great small restaurants in Paris, where the proprietors attend to every detail . Given the prices for both food and wine, I can't think of a better fine dining value in NYC at the moment. This is a neighborhood gem, and also a restaurant worthy of a trip to Bushwick.

Ten of us went for a post-wedding brunch. Food was outstanding and service was superb. Highly recommend it.

Most definitely the best French restaurant in NY. Amazing atmosphere, great people and food has been consistently mind blowing. My go to place.
