   I saw various reviews and decided to give it a shot and boy we were NOT disappointed We had marvellous starters of prawn & crab cocktail and goats cheese bruschetta which were both delicious and then the fruit de mer as recommended by a previous diner ... perfect do try This is a fabulous restaurant do give it a go and it could end up being yr favourite!

   This restaurant is tucked away and it was a friend from Harrogate that recommended it. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we had had a 6 hour journey so were tired and hungry. The restaurant did not disappoint. We had delicious authentic French dishes and were really looked after. We were recommended a wine by Dominic which was perfect and our starters came out quickly ahead of the 2 bigger parties that were dining. Despite the 2 big parties our service remained attentive. My husband's leg of duck was delicious and the prices for the set menu were fantastic value. Only comment to improve things going forward would be to separate the couple's dining from the groups so that we could have had a more romantic meal.

   This was our second meal this year at Le D2 as the French ambience is just right. Excellent choices in the set Dinner and good quality wine to accompany the food. The staff are willing to help and advise with choices. The cooking was of an exceptionally high standard and, overall, extremely good value. A very enjoyable evening.

   We have enjoyed eating French food on many holidays in France. LeD2 brought back many happy memories of eating French cuisine and drinking excellent French wine from a well selected range in the wine list. We would not hesitate to visiting again if we are ever in the Harrogate area.

    Excellent food and service. Music did not fit location but everyone has different tastes
