Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: This French fine-dining icon has dazzled Vancouverites since 1983. Legendary chef Michel Jacob passed the torch to his friend and Iron Chef America winner Rob Feenie in 2024, and Feenie still celebrates the restaurant's French origins while incorporating some of his West Coast roots. Expect Dover sole deboned tableside in an herb beurre blanc, steak tartare, and other classics served in an elegant white tablecloth dining room.

                                                      It is our 4th time back since Chef Michel Jacob retired. Chef Feenie continues the tradition of excellently prepared dished. The appetizers , in particular ,shine. Bluefin tuna, foie gras terrine and the red and green endive salad were all excellent. The veal medallions were consistent delicious and the sauce rich but has a lightness to it . My husband had the seafood medley but thought that the lobster was a couple of degrees undercooked. All in all we had a great meal. The wine list is well curated but gravitating towards high price, high end wines. It would be nice with more reasonablely priced choices. The service was very warm and welcoming. The room noise was quite elevated. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. But we would go back again, no doubt.

                                                      This was our first time here and we loved it! Our server, Stan, was so personable and on top of our service! We had the chefs tasting menu and the wine pairings and we enjoyed every course! The food was delicious and went very well with the wines! We were celebrating our anniversary and at the end of the meal Stan brought over a card personally signed by all the staff and a little chocolate truffle for us both. We strongly recommend this place if you are looking for fine dining

                                                      I had the tasting menu, and it was absolutely amazing, from the first amuse bouche to the final dessert. It was truly a pleasure to eat food that was so meticulously calculated and carefully prepared. The tableware was simple but beautiful, reminding me that cooking is a comprehensive art. I was impressed by Chef Rob Feenie's dedication to impressing his customers in every way possible. I will definitely return as one of your customers.

                                                      Food was excellent, service was very good. Our table location was not what we expected, close to the kitchen, with some smell of the cooking and in a small area. I wanted a change in table but it wasn’t possible.

                                                      Best dinning experience of my life. Service was phenomenal, ambience was delightful, and food was next level. Rob feenie has crafted an elegant, light, and creative menu that has something for everyone. My group of three ordered the oysters, frog legs, Caesar salad, beef tenderloin,sake maple sablefish, and chocolate moose/fondant for desert. We could not have been happier. The chef made our night, he sat down at our table to make sure we were enjoying, and recommended us places all over the world and even showed us the kitchen. If you’re considering going to le crocodile, you simply have to it’s a once in a lifetime experience.

                                                      The Dover Sole we had was excellent. The poor service ruined the evening. After close to three hours I finally had to cancel dessert and get bill which took another 15minutes. The poor service from waiter who I believe must have been new, as had no idea what was going on, was probably due to lack of training As there are so many good restaurants in Vancouver, can not recommend this restaurant to anyone
