Gorgeous restaurant and great ambiance. The service was outstanding and very helpful. Some of the food, such as the sweetbread appetizer was great others like the sea bass was overly drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. The cocktails were quite good- albeit small, and the wine list is unreasonably expensive.

One of the best restaurants in NYC. Local foodies had recommended here and it was certainly the best of the 6 French restaurants we dined in during our week stay! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere lovely, the food certainly two Michelin star quality. We found the wine list quite pricey but Courtney, the excellent sommelier, helped us find a very good red burgundy. Will return next trip.

We had such a great experience dining at Le Coucou in 2018, months before they received their Michelin star. Our experience today falls far below the bar set 5 years ago in terms of food quality, taste and value. Perhaps Le Coucou can go back to its more imaginative and tastier cooking. And bring back price fixe offerings!

Great Service - Great Ambiance - Food 8.75 out of 10 - Value 7 out of 10 No real bar area to Sit/Stand while you wait (enough for 3 sitting areas for 2 people sitting together on small sofa) - even though we did not need to wait too long

I had the best experience in Le Coucou, food was insanely good. Definitely a place to visit while you are in NY. Would reccomend it withouto a doubt. Try the lamb and the caramel ice cream.

The space is stunning. Super sophisticated. The service was attentive and seamless. The wine list was impressive. The glass pours are unique. The menu was classic and refined. Sweetbreads and foie gras both perfect. Delicate and great flavour. Lobster main worked really well with peppercorn sauce. Dover sole overcooked and lacked the flavour of other dishes. Puddings both delicious. Sorbet and a perfect Millefeuille. Washed down with a bottle a St Aubin which was balanced and pretty good. Overall a very good experience.
