Amazing as usual! This time their Valentine's day special dinner menu was delicious! Their Lobster Bisque and the tuna tartare was out of this world. And the lamb chops just melt in your mouth. Staff was super nice like usual.

Food was excellent - the prix fixe menu was thoughtful and pairings were delicious and inventive. While the wine menu is limited, the cocktails were amazing. Overall we had a lovely dinner and will come again.

Big confusion at the door. We gave out reservation name and told to wait. 20 minutes later we had to ask where our table was. First hostess never checked us in never snapped to us waiting and gave our reservation away! Hostesses were incredibly confused

Houston has a special restaurant called the Le Colonial. If you want something fresh clean and safe to dine give this place try. The staff is friendly and Trevor the wine expert is truly a joy to experience. My family has always enjoyed the options on the menu. A five star treat.

Wait time between servings was ridiculous and at the end the waitress forgot to bring a dessert so we sit there an extra 20 minutes waiting on dessert and check

Eugene’s service is amazing - he always goes above and beyond. We love so many items on the menu here, our favorites being: firecracker beef, beef noodles, spicy chicken soup, brussel sprouts, spicy chicken stir fry, shaking beef, and the signature fried rice. Their creme brulee is wonderful as well!

Hostess placed us at an awful table next to a huge loud family with multiple children who would not even stay in their seats... asked our waiter to tell her we would like to be moved and she ignored the request.... I went up to the front and spoke to the manager and he moved us to a perfect table and we had a perfect evening...

Anniversary

As always, we enjoy the food, atmosphere and service. Le colonial is one of my favorite restaurants. Food is outstanding enjoyed every bite.

Food and the ambience were wonderful, but our server was not engaged and certainly did not want to be working. Our orders were perfect however, but I attribute that primarily to the kitchen staff and the very attentive bus boys along with the people who brought our food.

The food was good but a bit pricey. The service was fine but not super attentive.

Always a favorite. Great food, service, atmosphere. Fun spot for date night or dinner with friends.

Date night with the wife. We had the firecracker beef and crispy shrimp and pork rolls for an appetizer. They were both outstanding. For the main, we split the whole crispy red snapper. The waiter removed the meat at the tableside which make it easy to eat. I would highly recommend this dish as it was excellent. Service was good but a bit slow. Will definitely go back here.
