Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Chicago, Denver, Delray Beach, Houston, Lake Forest, and Naples, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of sophistication and opulence. Celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver exquisite attention to detail in the luxurious, classic, and romantic atmosphere of Buckhead Village. For special occasions, our private dining space provides a bespoke setting for unforgettable celebrations.
To enhance the experience of your visit we ask that you respect our dress code.

    The Lotus Room is an intimate private dining room that is located near the entrance to the main dining room and visible through wrought-iron French doors. With seating for up to 14 guests, the room pays homage to the official flower of Vietnam and is anchored by a Jonas Wickman mural rendered in gentle tropical tones. Exclusive tasting menus with wine pairings prepared by Culinary Director Nicole Routhier and Executive Chef Hassan Obaye are available by request. Transport your guests to another time and place for your next corporate or social gathering. The lounge area provides an intimate setting with black and white photos of 1920's Saigon, potted palms, Oriental rugs and ambient music setting the stage for your experience - perfect for a reception style event or a seated dinner for up to 125 guests. Enjoy plated canapes, a buffet station and cocktails. Take advantage of the weather on our veranda, extending the lounge area via French doors to an al fresco environment.

    Le Colonial has good food but it's overpriced. It's a pretty place, but some of the outside seating is in the sun.

    Our waiter Corey was excellent. He was knowledgeable and very detailed oriented. Corey made sure we had a great dining experience. However after we paid almost $600 and were exiting the restaurant, my guests and are I were followed into the elevator by a staff member, seemingly security. As we all exited the elevator, the staff member told one of my guests that his attire was not appropriate and therefore we shouldn’t have been served and wouldn’t be allowed back with similar attire. Safe to say we will never return to the establishment.

    My wife and I have always had a wonderful experience. We decided to bring our out of town guests last night and unfortunately it was not the experience we had become accustomed too. - service extremely slow - menus were missing the menu - family of six allowed their child to run around totally killing the evening dinner vibe Hope management finds feedback helpful and makes the necessary adjustments.

    We’ve always loved coming to your restaurant — sometimes even driving up to an hour just to enjoy it. We especially appreciated the Happy Hour your restaurant used to offer. However, I was very surprised and disappointed to find out that the Happy Hour is no longer available. I didn’t make a reservation because I assumed we could come and enjoy the Happy Hour menu like before. Unfortunately, the regular prices are now too expensive for us, and without the Happy Hour option, I can’t justify returning. I’m sorry to say that I won’t be recommending your restaurant anymore. It’s a shame, because we used to really enjoy it. For now, I’ll be looking for another place to go.

    Elegant but not stuffy. Exceptional food and flavors in a relaxed setting. This is a great spot for a celebration, catching up with a friend or just a Wednesday night out. Already looking forward to the next visit.
