Disappointing for a restaurant of this quality. Actually served the two fish special orders with this news: “This is half of your meal. The rest is coming in a few minutes”. And then served the second half of the fish meals on another plate in 20 minutes. No apology - server never talked to us. Message delivered by young guy who was only bringing out the plates.

Another amazing meal! We both had fish (salmon and flounder) and it was cooked well, presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The last few times they had a by-the-glass wine special for Camus, which is a nice treat. The wait staff is always great, thank you wait staff for taking care of us so we could seamlessly enjoy our night out.

This visit was our second visit of our trip to Amelia Island. It was as good as the first visit, and made even better by the efforts to find us a table after the heavy rains and lightning forced the closing of the very enticing patio seating. Food and service outstanding. Beef cooked just to temperature and appreciated the generous pour of a very nice red wine offered as a special that evening.

Omg, this place is the best! We had such a wonderful meal. Spectacular! We will definitely be back. The Caymus wine, escargots, steak, salmon, service - all made for a magical evening. Such gentle prices and intimate atmosphere are rare to be seen.

Smaller but attractive place with an inviting outdoor courtyard. Very pleasant service with knowledgable staff. Food very good. Not your classic French standards but good food with a French twist. It would appeal to most tastes. Decent wine list at fair prices. Busy and a bit crowded. We enjoyed it so much on our first visit that we booked a return reservation upon returning to our rental home. Hope to try the outdoor courtyard.

We had the chef’s special appetizer, a salmon dip, salad le Clos, as well as the Flounder fillet. Food was delicious and service impeccable. A little noisy due to St. Patrick’s day partying at the bar behind the restaurant. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Le Clos is our favorite restaurant in fernandina. I love that they have a limited menu selection which they do everything really well. As I think some restaurants try to do lots of different selections of which most are ordinary.

I made the mistake of not asking the price of the scallop and beef special which the server did not mention. When I got the bill it was $60 which was twice the price of any other menu item. The scallops were very good and the beef was okay according to my wife. The tuna that I ordered was only okay as well. The service was good. the ambience inside is nothing special. It was too cold to eat outside which is very special.

We dined a Le Clos for our Anniversary, the service was wonderful, my wife had the special which was baked flounder with a wonderful sauce and I had steak and scallops. Both were excellent, this is truly an excellent restaurant, with excellent people working there and in a warm comfortable setting.
