Post-car crashing through part of their dining area, Le Chat Noir has bounced back beautifully. Excellent Mahi mahi and duck confit on Sunday evening, followed by a delicious apple tart. Kudos to this neighborhood gem!

Took my grandson there for his 26th bday. The food and service was A+.
The meal began with very tasty and warm bread. Both the salad and soup of the day were excellent. We were both very pleased with our entrees - beef bourginon and a crepe with sauteed chicken breast. We concluded the meal with very good decaf. The waiter was friendly and attentive.
Per the Michelin Guide - a neighborhood gem. Great service, very good food and a moderately-priced wine list. No corkage fee Sunday nights and other specials during the week.
Always an excellent, friendly neighborhood place for a nice, quiet and excellent meal. This time enjoyed an wonderful Sunday brunch, but have had dinners at the restaurant as well. A good place for a celebratory event, but also a quiet place for a business dinner. The food is always delicious and nicely presented. the waitstaff are always attentive. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful evening beginning at our arrival. The service was outstanding throughout; waiters were thoughtful without being intrusive. It was easy to have a conversation as the place was not noisy. The food was excellent. The dimmed lights were a plus. The decoration can be improved and the place is a bit cramped but overall it was an excellent experience. The menu does not list calories.

This is a great restaurant and the food and service is really good. The only "complaint" I have is how cramped the seating is - but it certainly reminds you of being in a little french bistro!
The omelet was fantastic.
My wife and I went here for Valentine’s Day . The restaurant was quite busy even at 930pm, but the waitstaff were attentive and helpful. Even though the restaurant is located in an older building the environment was warm enough for a February night.
The beef and mahi mahi dishes were amazing. However both of us thought the beet salad with seaweed garnish was uniquely scrumptious.
We would definitely eat here again.

My husband and I had our Valentine's dinner at Le Chat Noir. The restaurant was full of happy diners and the atmosphere was very festive. The service by Issa was perfect. The dinner was delicious. When we left, they gave us a little box of candy and a red rose. A totally fine experience to celebrate a special evening.

I’d tell them to look at other options. Service vis-à-vis pricing was not an equal value. Nice neighborhood place that go to a lot bc it’s close to home. Would not go there if it was a big effort I will say food is always fine.
Good food, generally, although the steak frites featured a very skimpy piece of meat. The rest of the food and desserts were very good. The space is pretty tight in there, so be prepared to keep your conversation to a whisper.

I had NY strip and I have never had such a rather thin slice—covered with sauce.
We had a 5 o'clock reservation. Arrived 10 minutes early. We're not received very graciously.
Wil go back, loved the champagne and the bread (of course!)!
Great place for brunch. Special brunch menu offers several favorite dishes and includes a glass of mimosa or wine.
We came here for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. Nobody was at the hostess desk when we got there. Had to wait for a bit before somebody comes. We got seated right away considering it was a very busy night. Our waiter didn’t really created us and ask us if we are having wine right away. The specials of the day was never mentioned while the other waiter had mentioned it to the table next to us. Service was not so great in my opinion. Definitely was not a good first impression. The food though was delicious and well prepared. We got the duck cassoulet and the poulet grand mere. For the dessert, the chocolate mousse was yum but the creme brûlée was lacking. Wines are reasonably priced. Not something I would come back to considering there’s other great places around to eat. Also, I specifically mentioned that it was a birthday dinner when I booked this place on open table. It was never mentioned and our evening didn’t feel special at all.

Charcuterie was not French.my bouillabaisse had no safran,one little shrimp,the rouille was 1/4 of tea spoon with two little croutons.the server in t-shirt.the four of us were not impressed.
The food was not at the level of the bill.$300.
Just the bread and ice cream were ok.big deal

You are very far of what a French restaurant is.
Spaces were quite poor and the beer menu was not exceptional, but food and service were excellent.
This is a favorite restaurant of mine, but on this last visit my dish was not up to what I normally expect. The cod and salmon in the dish were washed out with the red wine sauce so that one could not even tell you were eating fish. But the other members of our party were quite happy with their other main dishes.

Mediocre at best in all regards.
Service was uninterested and not engaged. Never say him again after main course. Hailed maitre D for after dinner drinks and bill. Definitely don’t go out of your way to experience.
Always a pleasure. And so charming. I always await the daily specials. Thursday, one of the special appetizers was an escargot fricassee in mushroom cream sauce served in small, individual Dutch ovens. We found a good red Bordeaux on the wine list.
