Although this is a sought after experience, it just was not worth the price. The food was not as spectacular as I expected it to be for the price that was paid, and we found it quite bland in taste. The signature dish, the beef Wellington, was raw, with a mushy exterior. I would have appreciated the desserts, and various meats and cheeses labeled. The service was really great however.

It was an excellent experience overall. Plenty of of food & excellent service in a well setting dining room. Enjoyed very much.

One of the best places in Quebec City. EST view , best service and best food. We really enjoyed the dinner which lasted 4 hours! We love it.

Bland, tasteless food, that is too overpriced. Our server was also rather curt and unfriendly. We had a significantly better experience at Légende par la Tanière (only a 15 minute walk from the Château Frontenac) the night before. They had better tasting food, a better presentation of their tasting menu, very friendly staff, and much nicer ambience.

Kind of a must visit in Quebec. Plan ahead for reservations as it is popular and brunch is only on Sundays. Expensive, but worth it if you’re a visitor. If you leave hungry that’s your fault.

I had such great hopes and was really looking forward to dinning there. The ambiance is amazing but I probably had one of the worst waiters ever. After being seated, he finally came to our table after about 10 minutes and asked if we were ready to order without ever asking if we would like a drink or explaining the menu (which was a bit confusing). When I asked about a drink, he brought the wine list only and nothing with cocktails. It is basically a preset menu with some options. The waiter taking care of the table next to us explained everything course in detail. We got nothing from our waiter. I have no idea why we were treated that way. We were are dressed nice and were very polite. Also (and this is not the waiter’s fault) it took a very, very long time between the courses. I would never eat there again and the price is not worth what you get. Overall the food was lovely but overpriced with the level of service and the timing of the meal.

Comme si le moment était suspendu. Le menu dégustation est incroyable et le service impeccable. Moment magique et inoubliable. Nous avons adoré.
