Chuck you did not disappoint
Great food and drinks. The location, service and ambience were amazing!
Wonderful atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food!
Was not disappointed. The food was top notch and the service, exemplary. Will not hesitate to recommend Le Bremner to everyone I know.
Easy to reserve a spot, friendly hosts and servers. Amazing food! Great ambiance and not too fancy.
Great food. Best of all, our waitress, Ariana, made our night! She was friendly and gave us great suggestions. Really knew the menu well. She was witty and entertaining as well.
Food was very good. Overall very happy with this restaurant. Will be back.
From the moment we walked in we were in awe. The atmosphere, the service, the food were all spectacular.
Our waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The best moment was getting to meet Chef Danny Smiles! He was so down to earth and amazing to talk too. When he hear it was my birthday he insisted in getting our night started right by buying and doing a shot with us. I haven’t stopped smiling even though the dinner was 2 days ago. I can’t wait to return
Delicious food. Fabulous service. Greatly recommend.
Only disappointment...did not get to meet Danny Smiles.
Don't hesitate. Book here
Simply delicious and awesome service, I definitely recommand Brenner.
Loved this restaurant. The house made chocolate mousse with salted caramel sauce was exceptional. Ate the Arctic char seared to perfection and the wild mushroom risotto. Highly recommend.
Very nice service and great time for my birthday dinner!
It was our first time there, the staff was amazing and food was wonderful. Definitely will be a place we will return to when we are in Montreal again!
Very nice!! Great service!!
Excellente nourriture , ambiance agreable, permet de goûter différentes choses, tout est partagé,
Waiter dropped a dirty fork on my white t-shirt, the waitress was knowledgeable but rude. Portions are too small for the price. I had ask to make a special occasion due to it being near my gf’s birthday and it wasn’t fulfilled. Had to grab mcdonald’s after paying close to 150$.
Big expectations with poor results food did not hit the wow factor. Not a huge selection of sea food for a seafood restaurants. I have the saltyiest broth with my clams. Artic char over cooked. Very disappointed wont be back
Best restaurant in Montreal. From the food to the staff, this place is always an amazing time.
Ambiance was Aplus. We love a casual place with outstanding food and This was the place. Recommended by friends, we came for an early dinner. Elias was a great waiter. We had booked bar seats at 5:45 but snuck in a table seat instead.
Started with the tuna and oysters. Had the lamb neck cavetelli and the special of the night: Halibut with clams. Delicious. But the start of the night was the Squash with Brussel sprouts. I would have had two of those as my main meal if I had known how delicious it was!! Super romantic place. Great service.
awesome! the fact they change ur cutlery after every serving. amazing
We went 3 girls friend to have a great evening where we can chat together. Service was fast, so did not feel we had time to really enjoy our conversation.
We reserve at 8 and they kick us out at 10h30 pretending the table was reserved for another group. Usually when the table is reserved after they notice you when you reserve.
We were disappointed and left.
The food was good.
Not much choice for cocktails.
Really an excellent restaurant! We took business associates from Italy to this restaurant, and they really liked it! Given that our guests were from the culinary capital of the world (arguably), the fact they liked it very much says a lot!
One of a kind! You just can't copy a place like that!
I did don’t have much to eat
I eat salads & fish
They would not give me a vegetable that was served with another meal. They would not budge from the exact menu.
Dining at Le Bremner was a fabulous experience the food was exquisite and the service entertaining and exemplary I look forward to the opportunity to return.
Awesome food and outstanding environment and service! Would definitely recommend for a nice meal.
An absolutely perfect birthday dinner for my mom!
The food was delicious! Especially the lamb neck cavateli and the pancakes. We sat at the bar and the service was great! Love this restaurant!
Everything was so amazing, our waiter was very good at explaining everything, attentive but not overly.
I am still dreaming about the oysters 4 days later!
I was expecting a better tartar but oysters were amazing
Everything we ordered had a fresh unique flavor, all delicious. I loved the lobster and cream appetizer and my arctic char. The steak tartar and the risotto were also delicious. Service was outstanding. We arrived early when our plans fell through on a bitterly cold evening. There was no sign and I had forgotten the exact street number. Nothing on the door indicated the place was a restaurant, much less the restaurant we had booked at. This should be rectified, in my opinion. But we were greeted with friendliness and made to feel welcome. The place was warm and bright and we were given a table immediately in spite of our early arrival. The waiter explained all the dishes to us in detail. The menu offered only five mains and the choices were unusual. One of our party couldn't find anything she wanted to order. The fried chicken she ended up with was over-cooked on the outside but flavorful. The servings were small and came without sides. You had to order and pay for bread and sides separately. So you might find it a bit pricey. Overall, the restaurant offered an interesting dining experience in Old Montreal - recommended for a novel evening out.
We sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. Oysters, beef tartare, lamb hearts, arctic char, and spaghetti squash were amazing! We had lovely dessert and espresso. The bar was lively and sophisticated. It was expensive but worth every penny. We will return and recommend this to others!
A highlight in my foodie experiences. Everything, from the homemade pretzels “vine” to the amazing crafted cocktails to the hotsauce was outstanding! A must visit for food lovers.
Great vibe. The chef was super social and spent time speaking of the menu. The food was amazing
Wonderful wait staff. We must have had 4 or 5 different people serve us with warm smiles throughout our dinner. Food was out of this world. Truly memorable. We will definitely visit next time we're in Montreal.
Outdoor signage seemed to be non-existent; only the number on the basement doorway visible. Still, one of the best meals we've had.
On a phenomenally frigid winter's night there was no place on earth we'd have rather been. What a splendid repast, offered with pleasure pride and grace in a setting that could not have been more genuinely inviting and convivial. A gem.
Don’t even know where to start. Our favorite restaurant experience ever. Starting with the food — every bite of everything we ordered was amazing. The service was great. The setting is authentic and fun. It’s amazing. Go !
Mark was our server and he was incredible. The whole staff is extremely knowledgable of both the drink and food menu. The staff worked seamlessly together in service and switching over tables. Watching everyone work together was magical and the food was out of this world. I had the risotto and was extremely happy. My parent got the cavatelli with lamb neck and the parmesan cheese complimented the lamb nicely. We got the butternut squash with brussel sprouts to start and the flavor profile with the combination of hazel nuts and lardson was phenomenal. Last but certainly not least the chocolate pots de creme was perfectly sweet and salty with the homemade sponge toffee and salted caramel.
Casual and homey, with creative local food. Le Bremner is slightly hidden in a busy part of Old Montreal. Just look for the number, because there’s no sign
