   Avoid this restaurant. The owner sent an insulting text rant to us after 10pm the night we were there about not tipping enough. Shocking! Who does that to their customers? The service was slow and unfriendly. If the owner treats his staff the way he treated us, probably explains the level of service.

   We moved Tahoe after retirement ! This was time in le bistro Tahoe the food was amazing the service was even better. Really enjoyed our evening will definitely come back!!

   Food, presentation, service was all very good. A very nice menu and fair prices relative to the quality of the experience. The lobster bisque was unique and exceptional. The Arugula salad was a great combination of flavors. And the grand dessert was really over the top.

    We've been coming to LeBistro for many years, mainly on our wedding anniversary. David went from maitre-d' to owner and chef and made a fantastic restaurant a phenomenal restaurant! Kudos to the staff as well. Pris Fix menu allowed us to pick what we each wanted and how many courses. Last night we had, aside from welcoming freshly baked bread and treats, Escargot, then lobster bisque with puff pastry, wedge salad, and perfectly cooked filet mignon. We finished off with Le Grand Desert. The wine list is wonderful and reasonable. Pardon me if I drool as I write this. If you're at Lake Tahoe, you MUST visit LeBistro.

    An amazing experience. Have been going here once a year for at least 15 years. It is consistently an outstanding culinary event. Their food is exceptional, creative, and very reasonably priced. Their wine list is equally noteworthy. Small intimate atmosphere makes for a dinner I look forward to every year.

    Wonderful dinner! We started with the tomato bisque and lobster bisques were delicious , then the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp and delicious and the lamb was perfectly cooked and outstanding! Allie our server was fabulous! Always a wonderful experience!

    Always very well prepared meals! One of the best restaurants in Incline Village. And it’s a very well priced considering the quality of the ingredients and skillful chef. So even though it might seem expensive, the cheaper restaurants in town aren’t really inexpensive and you will get a much higher quality meal at Le Bistro.

    We came one night and were so impressed with the service and the food, we cancelled another reservation and returned the following night. The restaurant was almost full both nights, despite that the service was fast (it is a restaurant, not fast food), the staff was very welcoming and courteous and the food was excellent! Highly recommended! We will definitely return every time we come to Incline!

    We were seated near the windows and it was very cold so cold that other customers were wearing their coats and my husband & I put ours behind our backs to keep warm. The scallops & duck were delicious but the lamb chops were tough. We mentioned this to our waitress who apologized but no offer was made to rectify.

    Went here to celebrate the last evening of our honeymoon in Tahoe, the service was top notch, the food was incredible!!! We opted for the four courses, which was too much food! We took our deserts to go. Definitely a “take your time” restaurant so don’t be in a hurry, but absolutely worth going to!

    Each of my four courses was extraordinary. The best veal chop I ever had - tender, moist, cooked exactly as ordered. And the ahi appetizer was memorable, better than sashimi at a fine Japanese restaurant with small, crisp potato waffles to provide textural contrast and the sauce was just right--added piquancy without dominating. The little extras were nice, too. The profiterole at the start and the addictive potato puffs . We were with friends and enjoyed taking our time to catch up. This is the best restaurant in Incline Village.

    Our entire service took 3 hours. 1 1/2 before our first course was delivered. She forgot two dishes and substituted dessert. Probably won’t go back. Other tables who sat after us were served before us

    We started the meal with a complimentary small appetizer from the chef which was wonderful. The lobster bisque was excellent and very impressive with a puff pastry on top. My son had the lobster ravioli and thought it was tough and small portion but tasted good. His crab cakes were way way too tiny but again the taste was great. The favorite was the ahi appetizer and the filet mignon cooked perfectly. What changed the entire meal was the joke of the cheese plate at the end. To have such fine dining then be placed with 5 slices of cheese from what looked like a Costco pre sliced platter was shocking. We ended our evening with great ports and this horrible cheese platter. So either they need to change that up or don’t order that at all! We enjoyed our meal a lot but prices were very high and portions small. But overall the food was excellent and worth enjoying.

Yes some of them we buy at Costco -they have a lot of high quality cheese! We don’t buy anything pre-sliced. We can make sure our staff slices them more appropriately - sometimes they have been too small. As for our pricing, things like crab and prime filet have gone up more than 40% and we haven’t raised our prices. Everything has gone way up! We’ll work on that cheese plate. Happy New Year!🥳

    We hadn't been to Le Bistro in quite a while. There were new additions to the menu which we enjoyed trying and were absolutely delicious. The Ahi and the shrimp appetizers were outstanding. The bread is extra special and we ordered 2 servings. Our group had the filet with fried onions, duck confit, lamb chops and halibut. All prepared to perfection. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. We are so fortunate to have this first class restaurant right here in our little village. Thanks for such a delightful evening.
