Le Bilboquet - Denver
This bistro is modeled after the Upper East Side original — a dining room dressed in white linens, with velvet seats, dark wood, and brass finishes. The Denver menu will include traditional and modern French fare, as well as the house special: Cajun Chicken.
Le Bilboquet's 6,000-square-foot location at 3rd and Saint Paul has a premier 70 seat patio, a beautiful lounge, a 32 seat private dining room and a main dining room that can seat up to 110 guests.
Wonderful experience, great service and perfectly timed spacing between courses ( not at all rushed to turn the table). Great for special occasions and will be back.
Our symphony got cancelled so we decided to have a great dinner instead!
Dear Mickcharla, Thank you so much for dining with us and for taking the time to review. We hope to host you again soon!
Everyone was so amazing, I can’t wait to come back

Loved the restaurant. The food was fantastic as was the setting.

Birthday perfect night!

The warm curry salad is the best I've ever had. Creative decor and beautiful space. We went for lunch. The bar looks awesome. Visit before it gets too popular!
Dear Bionica, Thank you so much for the five-star review! We are thrilled you enjoyed the warm curry salad! We hope to host you again soon. Merci!
This is a great place. We had lunch and the food was outstanding. Our server couldn't have been more attentive and the atmosphere was delightful. We'll be back.
Dear Cliffside, Bonjour! Thank you so much for the five-stars and for taking the time to review us, we really appreciate it. We hope to host you again real soon!
The food was great! Service was exceptional
My 11 year old daughter said "this is my new favorite restaurant mom - the people are so nice and friendly"
We love to hear that! Tell her, "Merci!" We hope to host you again soon, thank you so much for taking the time to review us.
An amazing atmosphere and food! Best restaurant experience I have ever had in Denver!
Dear Darryl, Thank you so much for the five stars and for taking the time to review us! We are so honored to hear this! We hope to host you again soon.
The food, ambiance and service were great. It was our first time there. We can’t wait to come back.
Dear DLittleton, We cannot wait to have you back! Thank you so much for taking the time to review us.
My favorite brunch spot just lost my business!!! The loudly blaring music made conversation impossible. Services was slow and inattentive. While the food is always great, the overall experience was DISAPPOINTING. I take my Mom for brunch every Sat. and my Husband and I brunch after church almost every Sun. Bilboquet which was a top 3 brunch destination for us, was absolutely horrid today.
Dear Audrey, We sincerely apologize for the service you experienced during Saturday Brunch. We hold a vibrant atmosphere during our Champagne Saturdays, with a DJ that encourages the fun vibe you experienced. We hold a high standard for service and our deepest apologizes that we did not uphold that for your experience. We thank you so much for bringing this to our attention enabling us to address our service issues and ensure a better dining experience. We do hope that you visit us again soon.
We have been to the restaurant twice. Both times, the service has been good and restaurant itself is very nice. The food is very average but agreeable. I wish they could find a way to make the food more French. The drinks are always great! I would recommend the restaurant to a friend with the caveat that it does not taste very French.
Awesome!!! What an amazing night of French food and ambiance.
We had an exceptional time!
Sauces were heavy and lacked nuance, e.g. sauce for the canard was like grandma's gravy and covered up the duck, rather than complemented it. Price of the terrine was excessive for what was plated. Nickle and dimed by adding two bucks for a Peach Royale over the Kir, which felt like Frontier Airlines. Dessert, Mille Feuille, hit the spot! Better French dining just down the street! In terms of ambiance, pretty but soulless. If you like corporate, here's the spot!
Great service and food. We really enjoyed our evening
Fabulous food, impeccable service. Nice 'n quiet on a Monday for lunch, perfect for conversation.
Fun atmosphere and great food. Unfortunately the food service was a bit rushed which our server attributed to a malfunctioning computer system. Otherwise we had a pleasant time. There were only two of us but it seems like it would be a good site for larger parties, too.
Best place for Saturday Champagne Lunch with a live DJ from 12-3PM. Super good food and music! What a fun place to be on a weekend.
Dear Conny, Thank you so much for the 5 stars and for taking the time to review us. We are so pleased you enjoyed the DJ, as she really does add such a fun vibe to the restaurant. Thanks for the feedback and we hope to host you again soon!
Fantastic food and service in a beautiful spot
I sat and the bar and the service was great. The bartenders really interacted with me as a solo out of town traveler, they helped me select the best food & wine and created an overall wonderful experience. I stayed for over 4 hours because we were having so much fun!
Dear Catherine, We are so pleased to hear that you had a wonderful experience. We are lucky to have had you for the over four hours. We do hope you return to Denver soon so that we may host you again!
Le Bilboquet is such a great addition to the Denver dining scene. While pricing can be on the upper end, it provides superb service, outstanding food, and a lovely, lively environment all of which are commensurate with such pricing and exactly what you would expect. My only caveat is the noise level on a busy night when tables are filled with large (loud) parties who try to talk over the music, which tends to be a bit loud already. Perhaps the restaurant could turn the volume down so people would not try to compete with it. Thus, ALL patrons could better enjoy their special evening out.
Hello, Thank you so much for your kind words, the five stars and for taking the time review us. We thank you for giving us this feedback enabling us to address these issues. We look forward to hosting you again soon. Merci!
Perfect renditions of French classics reminiscent of Les Halles with the chef not afraid to experiment with interesting tastes the can't be had elsewhere. The blue carrot soup was a healthy and pleasant surprise while the confit was perfectly prepared.
Hello, Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled you enjoyed the soup and hope to host you again very soon. Merci!
The reviews on Yelp and Google are true. The service was ok, even though she forgot our appetizer and we got half eaten old bread (not joking), the food was dry, and the setting didn't match with the service and ambiance. The setting was French, but the (too loud) music was Bruno Mars? Then when it was someone's bday, they played cranked up club music and came out with Club style sparklers. Our food was dry on top of that. Never again, and my advise if you are reading negative reviews, they are most likely accurate.
Decor is beautiful but food was average, music way too loud and “club-like” rather than background music, tables VERY close together. For the price, not worth it. We were very disappointed.
So happy Le Bilboquet is now in Cherry Creek. Excellent vibes especially for dinner parties. The music towards the end of the night was incredible. Fun to enjoy a drink at the bar before and after dinner. Exceptional service and the food was very delicious. I can’t wait for patio weather!
My husband and I are delighted to have in Denver, such a caliber restaurant. Good food, excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you for choosing to open in Denver.
Service was terrible. It took us 15 minutes to get a drink order in and the server was very rude. Food came out quick but cold.
Great Valentines night. Good atmosphere. Music was too loud when we got there, but the staff noticed that it was and adjusted. Great service considering the very busy night.
One of our favorite places on the regular, was a great night for the holiday.
The food was average and the cost was way over priced. It was $465 for two persons including tip with one drink each and a moderately priced bottle of wine. We had chicken and fish.
We celebrated St. Valentine's Day with a fabulous lunch at le Bilboquet. Every detail was wonderful from the moment we stepped into the door until the door was held open for us to exit. The decor, lighting, staff; our waiter, Matt; the food; and the music level- quietly playing in the background. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us! We are so pleased that you had a great time this Valentine's Day and we hope to host you again soon.
We really enjoyed the Pre-fixe lunch. It's only $25. We started with the butternut squash soup. My partner had the fettuccini and I had the salmon. They were both outstanding. The service was attentive and timely.
I gave this place one star because you won’t let me give it zero or negative stars. My wife and I went there for our anniversary. The person who greeted us at the door was very accommodating and everything went downhill from there. The appetizer was inedible. We sent it back to the kitchen but they did not take it from the bill. I don’t know what was on my entrée but I was lucky I didn’t break my tooth and it was not taken from the bill. My wife was sitting on a bench and the person we were told was the floor captain sat himself on the edge of the of the bench with his back to my wife encroaching on her space and had a loud conversation with another table. This was the rudest thing I have ever experienced in a restaurant. When I asked for the manager I went through the list of all these issues his response was to buy us a single dessert. He showed no class. We will never walk into this restaurant again. Never
Dear Julie, We sincerely apologize for your experience. We would never want a guest to feel as though they were not being heard. We do hope that you will join us again so that we may ensure a better dining experience for you and your wife.
We were very satisfied with the quality of the food - really excellent. Wine was pricey but the entrees were comparable to other restaurants of this type. Service was great and noise level was very good - we could actually hear each other!
Dear Beth, Thank you so much for your 5 stars and for taking the time to review us. We are so thrilled you enjoyed the food and ambiance and look forward to hosting you again soon!
Lunch was very good. Better than dinner as it's too noisy and rushed at dinner.
Dear FatDaddy, We thank you for taking the time to review us as we greatly appreciate your feedback. Our apologies, as we would never want you to feel rushed during any service. We hope to host you again soon!
Friendly, it was a snowy night yet we were seated on top of two other couples. Plenty of open seating and never came close to filling other tables. Made for an irritating experience.
Excellent food! And great service! Possibly the best food experience I have had in Denver.
We are so honored to hear this! Thank you so much for your review, Rick. We hope to host you again soon.
Was there on a winter morning- the place was very under heated.
