    Excellent food, however I ordered a tuna tartare and received a salmon tartare. The waitress apologized for the error, but we were not compensated. I would have expected a rebate on our bill, or a free dessert!

    Hello Elaine thanks for the feedback and we apologize for the error. Please advise the waitress immediately next time if there is an error and we will rectify the issue right away. My waitress did give you a dessert for free!!! I do not know why you mentioned that you were not compensated because unless she brought that dessert to another table, we did offer you and apple crumble on the house!!

    Another amazing meal at Balneo. Our go to place when we are in the Montreal area. Ambiance and service excellent. Highly recommend the steak tartare or any of his pasta dishes….outstanding.

    perfect for sharing dishes and a glass and or a full dinner. Very nice flavour combinations. an important point for me is temperature of food and drink and they were perfect. The wine was chilled just right - the dishes were served hot - the coffee was perfect. little things make a difference. We will be back

    Exceeded our expectations, food was excellent and the service was fantastic even with the restaurant quite crowded. We’ll certainly be back again soon.

    La nourriture était très bonne ainsi que le service, mais la proximité des autres tables sont vraiment trop proche. J’ai trouvé que cette proximité entre client manquait d’intimité. D’ailleurs pauvre serveuse qui doit se faufiler entre les table, chaise et clients…

    First time … food, service and cocktails… top notch Place was jamming on a Saturday night… can be loud but that’s because people are having a great time Lobster croquettes!!! Will go back for sure
