I ordered a petite fillet, medium well unfortunately it came quite burned. I showed it to the server and she took care of it right away, apologized and they made it right. The replacement was very good. I also ordered a baked potato with butter and sour cream on the side, the potato had to go back because it was literally cold inside. I highly suspect it was not from fresh baked that day, but that came back and was fine . Additionally, they comped a dessert for us, chocolate cake. Unfortunately it had to have been at least five or six days as it basically just crumpled apart. Had I paid for it I would’ve said something, but at that point in the evening it was best just to leave 😊

The special feature was prosciutto wrapped prawns over pesto cream angel hair pasta with broccoli. It was amazing! The lobster bolognese was also very delicious. The food and service at LBV never disappoint. Can’t wait for our next visit!

My husband and I completely enjoyed our dinner here. We had salads before dinner and he ordered the steak, which was amazing. I also had risotto. I’m a risotto snob and this was one of the best I’ve had. The rolls were warm and so wonderful. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Best Birthday dinner ever! We started with strawberry champagne salads and they were perfect. The feature while we were there was crab stuffed prawns en croute, and to say it was delicious is an understatement. The filet was cooked perfectly to medium as requested. And the lobster tail and risotto were both superb. We also ordered several desserts on a platter for the birthday celebration and it was outstanding! Our server Jerrod and Chef Mark really made my birthday special. We never have a bad experience here. Can’t recommend LBV enough!!

We had reservations. When we arrived, no one was up front. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come up front and finally seat us. Restaurant was not busy for service to be as slow as it was. Seared Tuna was over cooked. Smoked Gouda Mac and cheese sauce was this and soupy. Mashed potatoes seemed to have been sitting most of day and warmed back up. Lobster tail was good though

We have eaten at the mountaineer several times. Every meal has been great. he steaks are prepaired perfectly to our orders. The staff is knows the menue and how everthing is prepaired.

Despite a limited menu, they were out of two items we tried to order, the lobster sauce for the sea bass and the button mushrooms. The steaks were great, but my garlic mashed potatoes were kinda bland. Service was good.

We enjoyed a really nice dinner at LBV, the steaks and the service were both great!! We missed the specialty bread basket they used to serve with all of the different breads that was such a great part of the meal that we looked forward to.

It is as my mom's birthday celebration and she loves LBV steakhouse. I was wondering since I said it was a birthday celebration when I made the reservation, why our waitress wasn't aware. But the good was excellent and we truly enjoyed it.

Love the steaks and the truffle potatoes. Only thing we miss is the different mix of dinner rolls they had in the past. The sour dough rolls are great but there had been another type in years past that was in the basket as well.

Vicky was great! The crab cakes were a little mushy. The beed carpaccio was good a little over dressed. The veal scallopini was wonderful. Their scallop special was to die for. The NY strip was a little over cooked, tough and steamed like it was cut wrong. Sides were okay. Service was awesome.

We just love coming to you restaurant the food is excellent and the prices are good my wife and I live in Pittsburgh and come to mountaineer at least i time a month for three nights we will becoming back to the steak house the weekend of the bash keep up the great food and service we had Jared lay night very good waiter thanks again

My wife had the fillet I had the ribeye ……steaks were amazing. The shrimp cocktail was fantastic. The only bad part about the whole meal was our asparagus was not the greatest, but produce has not been the best in this area at this time of year.will definitely go back!

The fresh bread was relishes. Never has to request drinks to be refilled because the waiter on it. The steaks were prepared exactly as we instructed. The side dishes were large enough to be shared.

There was no background music. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice. It would down out the conversation a table access the Roman was having regarding politics and would help the ambience
