   Thanks for your email asking for a review. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat there because you took our online booking (for multiple families) and when we arrived you were CLOSED. There are no trading hours on the doors and your website took the booking a day or two in advance. So I suggest you close the website for days you don't want people to come, and also if you receive online bookings at least have the courtesy to contact customers and tell them you're actually closed that day. We are all from out of town and made the effort to come to you only to have hungry kids upset and parents frustrated not knowing what was going on. Other locals were waiting around too for you to open. Thanks to Mika's Mexican restaurant across the road for fitting us in with no notice! Mika's was amazing food and service. And unbelievably- I messaged you privately on Facebook to let you know about this situation and you've read it 3 days ago and failed to even acknowledge or reply! Had you done so, I wouldn't have replied to your email for a review.

   Was absolutely terrible! We booked a table, ordered within the first 15 minutes. We waited 40 minutes for 2 drinks, 20 of those minutes we watched them sit on the bar in condensation and had to go and get them ourselves once we figured out they might have been ours. My husbands beer was replaced with something else without being notified or told the other was sold out and my cocktail was warm from sitting there in the heat all that time, I asked to have it taken off my bill. We then received entrees and the kids meal which was stone cold, the taco was like cardboard and the overall taste was disgusting. The tortilla chips served with guac were stale. We then waited an hour and 15 minutes before hearing other people complaining and returning their food, we have never walked out of a restaurant but decided that we could bet the food wouldn’t be worth waiting any longer for so we decided to settle our bill and leave. The wait staff seemed inexperienced and nervous and we felt sorry for them that they had to be put in that situation, they clearly needed some guidance from a manager and a lot could be avoided with some communication. Leaving customers waiting and hungry without checking in or speaking to them resulted in a very angry looking restaurant, looking around not one table looked like they were enjoying themselves. Was a very disappointing experience.

   Much better than Mika, its actually a non westernized mexican restaurant.

   The restaurant has a lovely view. We were early and it wasn’t busy which was nice. The entree came at the same time as the mains which was not what we wanted and they didn’t ask. Not enough Mexican choices for my liking. Food was ok but not fantastic. Sat for ages waiting to pay the bill only to be told to just pay at the bar when we were finished!

    Had an excellent dinner here. All meals had were delicious, service fast and friendly. Noise level a little high, and note they no longer offer the kids meals that are shown on the social media page. Definitely recommended!
