Laziz is marketed as modern Lebanese cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is reasonable, if not a little bland. The wine prices are quite expensive. Overall an enjoyable evening out with friends
Always wonderful food and amazing service the few times that I have been there! I can’t wait to go again!
We shared a large appetizer plate because we just wanted a quick bit and drink after a show. The pours of wine were very small. I have never had such a small pour. About an inch in the glass. The food was good though.
A friend and I had just a wonderful dinner at Laziz Kitchen. My companion has some dietary restrictions and our waiter was on it, directing my friend to several wonderful options. We will for sure come back again.
Wonderful service. Beautiful presentation. Absolutely delicious food!
The food was both interesting and fantastic. Our server was attentive and timely. Overall an enjoyable experience that we intend to repeat.
Went with some girlfriends for a lunch date. It was perfect. The food portions are huge, you can share a wrap and a side in my opinion. The wrap is a favorite, their falafel is good (kinda dry) but their fries are tasty. The eggplant was amazing! The salad bowl was beautiful too. Wish they had more wine to choose from, but good enough for a quick lunch. Will definitely go back!
Just phenomenal; everything was fresh and delicious. Server (Avery) was very engaging and tolerant of our many, many questions. Would recommend to anyone seeking a fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Honestly a highlight of Salt Lake City.
Food is pretty good.
The meal was delicious, served from friendly and attentive staff. They made us feel welcome like family except they also did the dishes when dinner was over with.
Really enjoyed the variety of items served as well as the vegetarian options on the menu. Highly recommended for tasty, friendly Lebanese options.
Secret tip: try the cardamom cookie & the tahini ice cream!
Laziz has never been one to disappoint! The food is consistently flavorful with delicious seasonal specials (the butternut squash soup was amazing!) and go-to staples such as the beet dip and haloumi plate. The gluten free and vegan options are much appreciated when with a mixed group. Give it a try, your palate deserves it!
I had only been to Laziz for lunch in the past. They have a wonderful dinner menu and really know how to spice food so that it is interesting and delicious.
I ordered the lebanese bowl and it was so delicious I had to slow down so the meal would last longer. I haven't had that kind of experience in years. So good!
Awesome spot. Saw this place on DDD and it did not disappoint!
Fun ! Delicious! Shared a bunch of starters then all had salads- perfect dinner
Alex, our server, was wonderful.
Food was excellent and the owner engaging with the customers made the experience even better. Great place.
Great food, excellent experience.
The food was fabulous. It was an enjoyable evening and the staff was great! Thanks.
Food Is amazing and their lemonade with orange blossom is phenomenal! You HAVE to try their falafel. Will return anytime I’m in Utah!
Food was delicious as per usual. The server that assisted with our meal no so great.
We just love this place. Sampled some hummus at the Farmers Market at the beginning of summer and have been here 4 times now. The food is full of flavor in each bit. Can’t say enough great things about.
It was great!! The food there it’s amazing. I was sad there were no kibbeh available I die for those.
I felt it was overpriced for the overall experience. The grape leaves were not appealing. I usually love them anywhere I have had them but I only ate one. The burger was flavorful but not served hot enough to last till the last bite but the service was wonderful. The location was lovely. I shared a dip and it was nice too, perhaps the 3 is just from the let down of the grape leaves. So :) just don't order the grape leaves.
New menu items; Excellent flavors all around. I must learn how to make that cauliflower at home! :)
We had several appetizers for dinner. The Salmon Ceviche was really good. We ordered a second order as it was that good! The staff was nice. Overall an enjoyable dinner.
I will be back!
We sat outside on the patio, because it was a gorgeous evening, and because it was quieter there. I don't know how I would have rated it for noise if we'd dined inside. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We actually ended up with 7 people, rather than six. We were having such fun that we lingered for awhile, but never felt rushed by anyone at Laziz. Wonderful experience!
Nice selection of Middle Eastern food, attentive wait staff, and fun ambiance.
Recommended Laziz to friends. Excellent meal and easy access for those of us in town from Wyoming.
The food and service here are wonderful - the alcohol is a bit pricey (I got a Lebanese rose) and it was a typical Utah pour (small). Definitely come here if you enjoy Lebanese food.
Absolutely wonderful. I strongly recommend eating here.
First time here and we were pretty impressed. Food was really good, service was great. Not much more to add, but we will definitely be back.
Fun atmosphere, terrific cuisine. On my my most memorable Salt Lake City dining experiences.
Very good food. The fish Tajin main dish was spectacular. Made with Halibut, tahini sauce and proper spices and pine nuts was right on. Lamb was great as well though favor the fish. Appetizers were all great and loved the tabbouli which was excellent and the cauliflower. Will be a regular on my list.
Excellent fresh and healthy food! Limited wine list. Highly recommend the dip sampler as app! Great to be able to do veggies instead of pita.
We ordered an iced tea, Lebanese beer, lamb meatballs, shakshuka, and the kafta burger. The iced tea was so bitter I could not drink it. The beer was very good. The lamb meatballs appetizers seemed too small there were only three quite small meatballs for $12.00 were very dry, however the flavor was quite good and the sauce they were served in was also very good. Now about the shakshuka. When we ordered I had asked if the eggs were poached in the sauce I was told no they prepared them however you want and then put them in the sauce. This turned out to be incorrect. I had ordered the shakshuka with the eggs yokes to be easy. Not only were they cooked through the dish was lukewarm. I asked for a new dish with the yolks runny. When it came back out the whites were not even close to set. At least the dish was hot enough to finish cooking them when I stirred them in. The burger was excellent and the fries were superb. Serve for a slow Wednesday afternoon was quite slow as it took over 40 minutes to get out food. Sadly I cannot recommend this restaurant.
Only the drinks was worth it .. prices are way too much. Seats are uncomfortable.. food is not testy plus the way you served was funny. Throwing cucumbers and tomatoes over the plate!!!! Really?!
Food was fantastic. Lovedthe dips - especially the beet dip and muhammara. Also the spiced lane, only place I have found that in SLC since moving from NYC - made me very happy. I had the Laziz salad bowl with tarok chicken and loved it, my daughter had the falafel burger (she is vegan) and loved it - along with the fries. The cauliflower florets were also quite tasty. Our waiter was great, helpful, attentive, friendly, but not intrusive. I will be back, for sure.
It was bit noisy inside, so we sat outside and found it quieter and very pleasant.
I’ve been to Laziz about 6x in the last few years and once got takeout when I was in the hospital after having a baby. The food is always exceptional! I find it is very helpful that the menu states if it is vegan/vegetarian. I especially love the dip sampler with veggies, grape leaves, & wraps. I find the falafel a little crispy for my liking and the wraps a little dry. I would love to have more dressing on those. I also would order salmon if it was Wild Alaskan instead of farmed. The beer and wine menu is very good. Wish I could go more often.
Perfect spot for a Sunday dinner. We love the design of the space. The food is always excellent.
