We just discovered Laziz and absolutely love it - wonderful food in a casual and relaxing atmosphere! Can’t wait to return.
Laziz is one of my favorite places to eat in the city. This James Beard nominated restaurant is great for diets of all kinds and has a great ambiance. We split the appetizer platter and it a great introduction to the cuisine. Also, try the pistachio baklava, it's to die for.
Fantastic food. Great place with a nice atmosphere. We shared the dip sampler and the mezze sample. So much great food at an even better price. Kemp was great with us and our baby.
I tell everyone about this place! It is absolutely delicious. Everything I have tried has been spot on. The food was incredible and the baklava was to die for.
Fabulous fresh and so tasty! Staff was friendly and prompt!
Great place, definitely will be back!
Loved it. We will go again. The parking is difficult on a crowded night.
Amazing food and helpful friendly staff
I loved this place! I was traveling to SLC with a group of friends to go on a ski trip. We got the mezze platter which was delicious, split a couple of appetizers and everyone got entrees and drinks and we split two desserts and I think the total was about $45 a person. Very, very reasonable prices. Food was delicious. Service was friendly. I will definitely return when I come back to Salt Lake.
Amazing flavors! The staff was very polite and cordial. Super chill and fresh ambiance (though slightly chilly for the winter). Don’t let the prices scare you— if you’re used to going out for curry, this is the same cost, but a fun way to change things up. 10/10 would recommend.
Great food and great place for gathering of friends and family.
Went with a friend’s family visiting from Dallas who are major foodies, and they loved the quality and taste of the food. One of the best restaurants in town!
Great food! Excellent service. All around wonderful experience. We will be back. There were too many delicious sounding dishes, we have to come back to try them all!
Only negative was not a lot of easy parking and not enough handicapped spots. It would be great if they could pave the back parking lot and add better/more lighting for safety.
We went to Laziz to mix things up from our usual rotation of SLC restaurants. I was very happy with flavors of the differ dips, the pita, and the variety on the menu. However, two things hold me back from immediately recommending this place. Firstly, it's very noisy inside due to the concrete and rustic style. Secondly, the steak was cooked inconsistenly. I ordered medium rare my friend medium. Mine was basically blue on the inside at parts, clearly cooked at too high of a heat. Meanwhile the medium steak was more medium well. The meat itself was tender and flavorful. Pricing is okay. It's definitely good food, but I think some of the entrees are a bit too much, while others are oddly cheap. If your steak doesn't come out right, maybe speak up about it unlike me?
This is a lovely place for Mediterranean food. The interior design is clever and comfortable. The service was attentive and thoughtful, our waiter answered all of our questions and made wonderful recommendations. Finally, the food was wonderful, healthy and very fresh! We loved it and would eat here at least once a week if we lived in the neighborhood.
The hummus and other dips are excellent. Laziz offers one of the best cauliflower preparations I've eaten in my life. The lamb burger was uniquely juicy because of the yogurt sauce instead of cheese.
We really enjoyed our first experience at Laziz. My guest was running a little late, and the server was very understanding. Our server had some great suggestions when we asked for recommendations. The food was delicious. I will definitely be going again.
Stylish space. Attentive service. Food was beautifully presented. Large portions. Would go again.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and very good service
New Years Eve dinner was fantastic! We’ve been once before around the time they first opened and it was great as well! I love the vibe and the seating. Great pillows for whoever sits on the bench. Definitely recommend!
Great service. Amazing food. Tasty beer & wine. Lovely decor in the restaurant. Romantic ambience. 10/10, can't wait to go back!
We went for a nice breakfast date and it phenomenal. Try the coffee for 4 it had an amazing earthy taste. We also had the beet hummus and shared one of there main entrees. A little different but worth a try!
Laziz is marketed as modern Lebanese cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is reasonable, if not a little bland. The wine prices are quite expensive. Overall an enjoyable evening out with friends
Always wonderful food and amazing service the few times that I have been there! I can’t wait to go again!
We shared a large appetizer plate because we just wanted a quick bit and drink after a show. The pours of wine were very small. I have never had such a small pour. About an inch in the glass. The food was good though.
A friend and I had just a wonderful dinner at Laziz Kitchen. My companion has some dietary restrictions and our waiter was on it, directing my friend to several wonderful options. We will for sure come back again.
Wonderful service. Beautiful presentation. Absolutely delicious food!
The food was both interesting and fantastic. Our server was attentive and timely. Overall an enjoyable experience that we intend to repeat.
Went with some girlfriends for a lunch date. It was perfect. The food portions are huge, you can share a wrap and a side in my opinion. The wrap is a favorite, their falafel is good (kinda dry) but their fries are tasty. The eggplant was amazing! The salad bowl was beautiful too. Wish they had more wine to choose from, but good enough for a quick lunch. Will definitely go back!
Just phenomenal; everything was fresh and delicious. Server (Avery) was very engaging and tolerant of our many, many questions. Would recommend to anyone seeking a fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Honestly a highlight of Salt Lake City.
Food is pretty good.
The meal was delicious, served from friendly and attentive staff. They made us feel welcome like family except they also did the dishes when dinner was over with.
Really enjoyed the variety of items served as well as the vegetarian options on the menu. Highly recommended for tasty, friendly Lebanese options.
Secret tip: try the cardamom cookie & the tahini ice cream!
Laziz has never been one to disappoint! The food is consistently flavorful with delicious seasonal specials (the butternut squash soup was amazing!) and go-to staples such as the beet dip and haloumi plate. The gluten free and vegan options are much appreciated when with a mixed group. Give it a try, your palate deserves it!
I had only been to Laziz for lunch in the past. They have a wonderful dinner menu and really know how to spice food so that it is interesting and delicious.
I ordered the lebanese bowl and it was so delicious I had to slow down so the meal would last longer. I haven't had that kind of experience in years. So good!
Awesome spot. Saw this place on DDD and it did not disappoint!
Fun ! Delicious! Shared a bunch of starters then all had salads- perfect dinner
Alex, our server, was wonderful.
Food was excellent and the owner engaging with the customers made the experience even better. Great place.
