   Our experience at Lazia was exceptional! Our server Mira was great. She brought us champagne at the very beginning of the meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday - a very nice surprise. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and helped answer all of our questions about unfamiliar ingredients. The food was fantastic. We had the focaccia and sunchoke fries and both were excellent. The pasta dishes were the perfect portion and tasted fresh and delicious. We ended the meal with the tiramisu and it tasted like it had been made fresh today. Everything was beyond tasty and felt worth the price. Can’t recommended it enough.

   The atmosphere and environment were really nice. The food took over an hour to come out. We then ended up with the wrong food. It was a bit frustrating for the price!

   Absolutely wonderful! We ordered way too much food because everything on the menu was so intriguing and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back to try everything else on the menu. The staff was fantastic as well.

   Lazia was simply AMAZING. You MUST experience the mozzarella madam. She was simply phenomenal and the mozzarella is DIVINE! All of the flavors explode in your mouth. The pastas are great for sharing, the drinks are excellent, and the vibe/decor is elegant yet laid back. The atmosphere feels upscale. Dessert was also 10/10. Highly recommend Lazia!

    Had an amazing time catching up with my friend over dinner here. The dining area is beautiful. The executive chef is from my hometown, so it was nice to find a taste of home in KC.

    Our service was fantastic. The wine, apps, entrees were awesome as well. We had the steak, the pork and Zuppa. Great atmosphere followed by a fun rooftop bar experience at Percheron.

    We showed up at 7:30 and they were already out of several dishes. Service was slow. Dinner took a total of 3 hours, no exaggeration. 30 minute gaps between our dishes. And very pricey for the amount of food. Presentation seems to be more important than satisfied customers. May try again, but unlikely with all of the amazing restaurants in KC.

    On our first visit, we were seated by the kitchen entrance and this time we had a lovely large table by the window, but the air-conditioning from the floor vent was so strong, we had to sit at the edges. We were disappointed to hear we can no longer order pizzas. We were looking forward to that as on our first visit, we enjoyed one. No explanation was given. There is no real 'green salad' but the panzanella option is lovely. It is very filling and delicious. I would recommend getting 6 oz or 8oz pour bottle for serving the wine. The first glass I had was about 4 oz at best and the second, the server poured about a 9 oz glass and both pours were charged the same. I ordered a 2nd glass based on the size of the pour on the first glass and I really didn't want an overly large pour. Our waitress was not as affable as our first waiter. It makes a difference who waits on you - they can make or break an experience.

Regarding the menu, we did recently change our offerings for the spring and removed the pizza section so we could instead offer a verdure section to highlight our seasonal veggie-centric items.     This was a great experience and we enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the bar attender for making the even rememberable. I only wish there were actual table seating available but the restaurant was packed.

    Love the atmosphere!!!! Champagne and wine glasses on ice in bins on central table. Big old windows with lots of light. Not too big a room so more cozy. Great wait staff and fantastic plates to share !!!

    I can't say enough great things about Lazia. It came recommended from a friend and we will absolutely be back. The food was excellent and our server Davy was top notch. All of the staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and over all a fun atmosphere. We were celebrating our Anniversary but we will not be waiting a whole year before returning!! If you haven't tried this place, you are missing out.

    The food was delicious and creative! We had several dishes and each was just as delicious as the other. We had a pizza, special of the day linguine, salad, prosciutto and others. The desserts were also over the top, especially the s’mores and tiramisu .

    Loved everything about this place, save for one thing. The decor is hip and happening, the pre-seating Amaro tasting is a nice touch, the menu is interesting but not overly ambitious, and the service was friendly and, for the most part, attentive. They had a nice range of wines by the glass and by the bottle, and it was fun to share small plates (and larger plates) family style. Only knock on the place was the pasta - not up to par with the rest of the place. Homemade and fresh, for sure, but too thick where it was pleated. So isn't on my recommended for a pasta fix but would definitely recommend for all else.
