   Me and my boyfriend had wonderful experience in Layla's, food was delicious (we had octopus salad to share then roast ducks breast and lamb chops), service was excellent (thanks Panos for taking good care of us) and atmosphere was really pleasant. Will go back for sure :)

   Chose thé Seabass dish for my wife, was relatively expensive 29€ for a very poor quantity and quality, tasteless.

   Brunch menu goes on until 5pm which is far too late Also, very poor offering on the brunch menu. The kitchen had no more burgers at 3pm on a Sunday and on Mothers day so all we could get was pizza as the other dishes wouldnt fill a Guinea pig! Also, when we ordered a bottle wine, we were told that it was out of stock so my husband picked a second bottle on the list, which we were informed was also out of stock!! My husband then asked the waiter to recommend a wine that was in stock and he suggested the house wine so we went with it. It was fizzy white wine muck. Such dreadful management of stock especially the weekend and the day that. At 4.35, the waiter came to tell us that he didnt mean to rush us but he needed the table back for 5pm. It was the cherry on top. We were not impressed. What made it more annoying was that when the girl came to our table to take for the bill, she told us, we could keep the table but they just needed to get ready for the dinner service so I dont know who was lying. Needless to say, we will not be returning to try their dinner menu which is a pity as the reviews online are great. Very disappointing and very embarrassing for me as we brought my mother out to celebrate Mothers day. To sum it up , what should have been a lovely mothers day meal turned into a pizza which we could have ordered from the local chipshop.

There are many great options available on the brunch menu that are substantial so your "guinea pig" comment I feel lacks taste. Yes, it was an extremely busy weekend and unfortunately some items were out of stock. I myself came down to take your payment, I had moved things around to allow you to keep the table longer as I had been informed of your displeasure, which I explained then to you.    Good food, decent service and nice location but few areas could be improved especially as it’s not cheap. Our meal for 2 with bread as a starter, 2 steak dinners, 1 dessert and 2 bottles of red was €200 + tip. Waiters are only attentive when you are ordering or when they are emptying bottles of wine into your glass which they do every time they pass your table whether you want them to or not. We were seated in front of the pizza oven and the air con was not on so uncomfortably hot for most of the meal. No soft furnishings in the space means it’s VERY loud so if you’re looking for a quiet meal this is not the place. Food was pretty good but the waiter did mix up the steaks and my medium well was overdone and a bit dry which for €42 was a bit disappointing. And no, I didnt complain because it was still edible, I was hungry and I didnt feel like sending it back and waiting for another one. Nicer for brunch than dinner.

    Huge thanks to Katerina and her colleagues for looking after us so well and really adding to our celebration. Even though we were a small lunch party of 4, we were made feel really special and delighted with a superb corner table. The service was fantastic and the food was lovely. We were even tempted to have a couple of expertly made Moscow Mules. Our experience from booking to leaving was first class. Thank you to all of your team.

    Food was very poor worst risotto every. My glass of Chardonnay was warm so ruined. Such a pity place lively and service was very good .

    Had a fabulous lunch with great bunch of friends. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Really enjoyed the whole experience and the value for money. Looking forward to our next visit.

    We went to Layla’s for my daughters Confirmation. Food was outstanding and our waiter was lovely! They offered to close the blinds as it was very sunny and nothing was too much trouble. They brought out a complimentary dessert and the view was stunning. Would definitely recommend!

    This is my second time in 3 months in Laylas with a couple visiting Ireland for the 1st time.We arrived before it was completely dark so the views over the city were wonderful.Once again Laylas impressed us ,from service to choice and value. On both occasions that I have visited I have been accompanied by people in completely different age brackets ranging from early twenties to late fifties and all parties have been impressed

    Very nice staff but service was extremely slow , we would have ordered another rounds of drinks but took too long to get anything . I loved my food and most of us enjoyed just my friend ordered black pudding and it came out very dry . We did have a great time , staff were lovely but overstretched

    Burrata was nice, but was served with a large piece of cold fennel, doesn't work well together. The fish was good, however the lamb was mostly fat. Ordered wine, had to ask for it again. By the time it came, our food was almost finished.

    Lovely restaurant, the food is good. The service isn’t great it was very slow, I understand it was a busy night but it’s not my first time there. It was very slow before. Forgetting the drink orders and being brought food or drink we didn’t ask for. I asked for medium steak and it was well done in my opinion.

    Very over-priced and small portions. We left feeling hungry. Ordered a side order and was very slow to come so we ended up cancelling that order. Beautiful restaurant and nice atmosphere just think not great value for money
