   Great food, friendly staff. Manager was very nice and gave us a table outside to be able to watch the sunset.

   I recently visited Layla’s . I really appreciated the staff’s courtesy — I requested a window seat and they were kind enough to accommodate it, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. I ordered the ribeye medium, but it came completely burnt on the outside, with a strong charred taste, and still bleeding on the inside. For the price, I expected much better quality. It felt overpriced for such a poorly executed dish. Sadly, I wouldn’t return for that reason — which is a shame, because the place has potential.

   Lovely rooftop and food was ok. Had to spend a minimum €25 on food - even when we said we would be staying and having a good few drinks. Everything was an issue with the waiter which created a bad vibe. We had intended to stay there all night for drinks but once we finished our food we couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Which is a pity because it’s a lovley venue, but they don’t follow through to create a positive experience.

   The staff were all so helpful and so so friendly. They had lots of drink options, including 0.0 Prosecco which as a pregnant lady is very hard to find!! The food was also gorgeous - would highly recommend!

   What a find! The location has panoramic views across Dublin and offers the perfect way to see the sun set. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh pizzas. The staff accommodated a large booking and additional guests that came along. I would highly recommend as a relaxed yet sophisticated venue to visit for dinner at reasonable prices.

    We both ordered ribeye steak 10oz and when it arrived it was cut into small pieces on a wooden board and had a small portion of chips with it in a separate bowl. It was disappointing and looked like a starter dish and not what we expected for a dish that cost €38 each. The steak went cold quickly and so too did the thin cup chips. It did not taste or look like a ribeye cut of meat and it was chewery like a cheaper sirloin cut. My friend and I agreed it was not succulent like a ribeye steak and it did not have the marbling like a ribeye steak and did not taste like a ribeye steak. We asked the waiter if it was actually a ribeye steak and had a mistake being made. He checked and came back with an answer that was not clear. We should have sent it back to be warmed up. But to be honest it was so underwhelming I regret not ordering another dish. €98 for 2 ribeye dishes with chips only, one sparkling water, one double espresso and 2 bottles of Heineken. A very disappointing dish, small portion and went cold quickly. I feel like it was a waste of money. Won't be returning.
