If I could give more stars I could! Every dish out did the last and the service was amazing. I would recommend the date cake, it didn’t last 2 minutes at our table. Benson took extra care of our table and checked in us a number of times. This restaurant is beautiful and picture perfect. Definitely book Laylak!!!!

Excellent Lebanese food. Nice, clean environment. Service could be improved. On the patio which is really in the parking lot so not very welcoming. All dishes came all at once. Difficult to manage. Had to ask several times for a bill

Recently visited Laylak, and while the food was undeniably good, one major drawback really impacted my experience: the noise. The atmosphere was overwhelmingly loud—so much so that it became difficult to truly enjoy the meal. There was a DJ playing music that didn’t suit the ambiance at all, adding to the chaos rather than enhancing the vibe. Combined with the loud chatter and general crowd noise, the overall volume was intense, and by the end of my visit, I had a migraine. If you're sensitive to noise or simply hoping for a more comfortable dining experience, be warned: the sound levels could seriously detract from the otherwise excellent food. It's a real shame, because the cuisine deserves a more refined and enjoyable setting. I'm torn—if I return, it'll likely be for takeout.

I went with my family for dinner. Overall great experience. We started with mocktails followed by starters, amazing mocktails and starters were par excellence. Then we went for main courses and all of that was superb. Definitely a recommendation, and going back soon. Food is not cheap but it’s worth it considering the quality, service and ambiance.

We visited Laylak Oakville today to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone — elegant yet inviting, with beautiful decor and a vibrant, upscale energy. The staff went out of their way to make the evening special, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Every dish we ordered was outstanding — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu offers a perfect mix of Middle Eastern-inspired dishes with a modern twist, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Special mention to the date dessert — it was amazing But what made the night truly memorable was how the team at Laylak made my wife feel celebrated. Whether it was the personalized service, the warm wishes from the manager, or the thoughtful touches throughout the meal — it all came together to create a fantastic experience. Thank you, Laylak, for making this birthday one to remember. We’ll definitely be back — and bringing friends. Paul C.

Not great! Arrived and had a reservation as it was Mother’s Day, but was told they’d have to check if they had a table. The restaurant was half full with plenty of empty tables. Once finally seated, was given a main a la carte menu. When we told the server we had booked Mother’s Day brunch we were told they weren’t sure any was left even though it was only early. Then they changed their story saying it was on and it was someone’s mistake who was new. We had to keep asking for water and our servers apron was stained with food! The washrooms were busy, waited 10 mins then gave up sat down. Only a couple of washrooms for large restaurant. Have been to the Toronto location and oakville does not compare. We will not be returning!

Overall, great ambience and service. However, the portions and value for what you’re getting is not worthwhile. In order to get water you have to purchase a bottle and it will run you $8 per bottle.
