   On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give Lavo an 8!Just look at how gorgeous it is. I knew it was supposed to be beautiful, but walking through the front door on a sparkling LA afternoon, the sun slanted in on the stunning bar and lit the entire space as if it were dipped in iridescent gold. And that was just the intro, the main dining room is jaw-droppingly splendid. See my pictures for an idea, but it is hard to do it justice. Did you notice the stone floors? The suede and leather banquettes with soft pillows? The olive trees dotting the gigantic windows that draw your head up to the atrium ceiling? Oh, wait, that ceiling opens! Paris, hello! Fantastic menu, I found dish after dish to get excited about. From the coffee to the dessert, the quality and artistry, and attention to detail were exceptional. Take a look at the "community" tab on their website to see where they get their ingredients -- every single source is organic and refined. This is European Michelin Star quality -- each element more delightful than the next. Ridiculously attentive service. We had three servers: Vjolica, Adrian, and Alexis. All of them professional and efficient. Whatever we wanted, the minute we seemed to think of it, there they were, helping the experience to be exactly as it should be. Parking in front with the valet is available even for brunch but we totally lucked out finding a free space -- no meter -- on the street just at the corner. That is one benefit of dining in W. Hollyw. late in the afternoon. Notice the boutique shopping bag that housed our extras? The variety of clientele? The excellent spacing of patrons during these nerve-wracking times? If I lived up the block, I would be eating here three times a week! Elegant, elevated, exquisite: this is dream dining. (Thank you to the Chef and to the Tao group -- you hit it out of the park again.)

   I was there for my birthday and to be very honest they were very slow in service and i just got bothered with the way they presented the check receipt in Ash tray!! Very unprofessional and rude service

   This was my 2nd time at Lavo. 1st time was impeccable 5stars. This time very different story. Had to wait for a table even with a reservation. No one came to our table for 20mins. Drinks took 25mins to be delivered. I had to leave my table and walk to the bar to get our drinks. Courses weren't spaced out. Appetizer and entre brought out together same time. Waitress had a bit of an attitude. In the end a manager came abd spoke to us and made things right and comped a few items.

   Everything was amazing , our server Rachel did a great job. Only complaint is that the tables were just too close together. I heard more of the conversation of the people sitting next to us than hearing my own family. But the food was so so delicious, the 1 pound wagyu meatball was to die for.

    1st time dining at LAVO and would revisit, but concerned that with all the notices of the dress code for entrance? They might want to update or enforce what they have listed for entry for dining. Clearly, not being enforced.

    Overall was a great experience at Lavo! All the from the hosts desk, to the busboy and waiter, everyone was friendly, professional and always available. Food was excellent. Nice size portions. Restaurant was packed on a Thursday night. Fun and exciting vibe and the decor was modern and electric. Would definitely go back again and try other dishes.

    Ah… I don't know where to start… We were waiting for more than 15 min to be seated, but okay, it was a busy Saturday night… I have a celiac autoimmune disease and this was the worst experience Menu-wise… My friends were super nice and all food that they ordered, was requested with modifications to be GF-made, so I can share with them as well. Our nice server knew my situation because he even explained why I can’t eat tuna tartare. On the other hand, Truffle fries is listed on their menu as GF. After my first bite, I told my friends that the fries has wheat on it. While they all stated that can’t be, because is listed as GF. Our server ( standing next to me) responded that I'm right, due to how they made it. I just stop eating fries and with no complaints manager came… not caring at all. After I've told him my serious situation, he came a couple of minutes later explaining that they using The same oil for zucchini almost weirdly stating that he will make sure the next time I come it will be GF?! I was in disbelief at what Im hearing. It doesn't stop there. They lost our validation ticket while cleaning The table. My friend was asked to pay $30 because of the lost ticket. The manager and server were aware of The situation and didn’t even bother to step out to The valet guys and explain what happen. If you care about your health, probably avoid this super scenic restaurant in West Hollywood! Real shame how we were treated. Real fiasco! I was advised to speak with Attorney, which I actually will the first thing tomorrow, since they just didn’t even care that I can easily end up in ER for hours. I still can’t believe what happened last night. Super disappointing for this type of the restaurant.

    Great experience for my wife’s birthday. Had 8 of us. Reservation was ready to go, service was awesome. Pricey but expected. Highly recommend. Christophe was an amazing waiter.

    Incredible staff, incredible setting, AMAZING FOOD. Just perfect. This was my second time at LAVO but for sure not the last. SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Ask for Zora, she is one the best.

    Had brunch there on Saturday and everyone was fabulous. Our waitress was awesome and the entire staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Drinks, brunch and dessert were all on point. Will definitely return when back in LA.

    The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. To my surprise the service was great. Cocktails were delicious and the food was just as great. Overall, great place.. and i forgot to mention we got a really nice table to it enhanced our experience.
