Amazing Ambiance, delicious meal, fantastic service. Great choice for us celebrating our wedding.
Great value- lovely staff. Excellent service. Will definitely be back
The Kobe meatballs and the Caesar salad are to die for. The cavatelli Bolognese must be an acquired taste because it was not good. Overall, Luvo is a great restaurant and we would recommend it to everyone.
Great spaghetti sauce, was able to have a vegan meal. Excellent minestrone! - the veggies were done just right, not overcooked.
Service could've been better, the waitress forgot about our drinks until just before the dinner plate was served.
Best meatball ever for dinner and great Sunday brunch!
Made a reservation because I thought Sunday brunch might be busy; nope. It was dead, and I realized quickly that it might because the service is slow and the food is just okay. Even though we had a reservation at 11 and the place was practically empty, we were told to sit and wait. Ten minutes later the hostess (whose dress was ill fitting, too short, and had a large hole in it), indifferently seated is. Wait service was incredibly slow and inattentive. The server actually seemed irritated to serve us, and had it not been for the manager coming by to ask about our meal, we would’ve been completely ignored. Water glasses were dirty and were hardly refilled. I just didn’t get a good vibe there and would never go back. The food was just okay. Not bad, not great. The best part of the whole thing was the complimentary piece of coffee cake they bring before the meal; that was good.
This was the most pleasant dining experience I have had the pleasure to enjoy in a long time. The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. And the food is was nothing short of life changing. My next visit to Vegas, Lavo is already an absolute must.
I have dinned at Lavo many times and have always been very happy with both the service and the food. Unfortunately this time we were seated in the corner booth close to the kitchen. Our servers were so lazy to walk around that they kept serving us over the booth wall and over the heads of our party. Food was great but service was just bad. This is a nice restaurant with higher prices so my expectations of service were much higher. Reminded me of Dennie’s server. Disappointed.
Lavo’s meatballs did not disappoint ! The restaurant is beautifully designed, great atmosphere and you can people watch! Service was excellent and the food was tasty. It is on the noisy side so may not be the best choice for a quiet, romantic dinner, more recommended for birthdays, group get together, etc. overall highly recommend.
We ordered a pizza and pasta to share. The pasta was almost cold. We told the waiter who brought us back another plate, with apologies. The second one was perfect. The portions were very generous. The restaurant is beautiful. Our table for 2 had one chair and one sofa, which was not very comfortable because too low. The ambience was great with great DJ music.
The meal was excellent the service was great and we had a lovely evening
We enjoyed our dinner but the apps came with dinner and we never received the extra bread we asked for
Out waitress was very pleasant
The portions were larger than needed
I booked ahead so we would have a table for Valentine's Day/night. The restaurant was very accommodating as I changed our time (about three times), as we were able to dine earlier than expected. A lovely atmosphere, but tight seating which actually lead to conversations with a tablemates from Louisiana who were next to us. After being seated we were promptly taken care of, ordering the special Valentine cocktail -- a refreshing blend of Vodka, Champagne, Elderberry & Strawberries served in a Tom Collins glass. Garlic bread, and a triad of olives, cheese, and spread were being enjoyed, but we felt rushed when our soup and entree abruptly followed. The waiter apologized, had the dishes removed, and later they returned to the table, served up hot. In the meantime, as an apology, the chef complimented us with a large order of callamari -- lightly breaded presented with a zesty marinara. Delicately delicious, but filling. The lobster bisque (three nice pieces of lobster) made with sherry was velvety, delicious, and so rich that we did not eat it all! The Chicken Dolcezza(?) was one half a bird (juicy, and light) served in a browned, flavor-packed Madiera sauce and accompanied by fingerling potatoes. My sister and I split the dishes, and found we couldn't complete the bird entree, either. Absolutely no room for dessert, which I'm sure would have been a sweet way to end our last meal in Vegas. As tables filled closer to a peak dining hour, the noise level increased, of course. Our small table was on a long bank of tables near the back wall. It must have had a wait service station behind us, as we could hear clattering of silverware, etc. Overall, it was a good experience, a good meal with cocktails, and Lavo's congenial staff made sure we felt welcomed, and taken care of. They also serve lunch, and weather permitting there is some outdoor seating options, too.
This is a vibrant, beautiful restaurant with excellent service however the food was very aversge. I had a beet salad which was a large portion but very forgettable. My entree was the seafood alfredo. I found it very bland only eating a quarter of the dish. My friends had chicken parmigiana which was cold and a penne ala vodka that was good but not up there against other pennes. If you plan on splurging on a great Italian meal, try Fiammas at the mgm
So far my favorite restaurant, excellent service and we love the food
