Open table let us make a reservation at 10:45 and the kitchen closed at 11. We were rushed to order everything we wanted to eat in 15 minutes. The food was great.
Food was great as always and the service was outstanding. We go for the ambiance and food - the wonderful service is a bonus. Thanks to Nicky and Danielle especially!
We went to brunch, sat outdoor. The weather was perfect and the service great, the food was light and delicious. I did not like the coffee, but everything else was great
Drinks, food and atmosphere - fantastic! The wait staff was incredible, including the bartender. One of my favorite places to dine when visiting Las Vegas. My husband and his friend LOVED their steaks. Others in our party LOVED their pasta dishes! My favorite dish is the Eggplant Parmesan! (An appetizer, but big enough for an entree.). Highly recommend.
Great experience. We unfortunately had to wait a while for our reservation and the food took almost an hour to come out!
Nice place and we ate there two nights in a row for dinner. Had our meal outside both nights. Great Caesar salad!
It was a celebration for my birthday, had an amazing time, would not have gone anywhere yet.
Little to no gluten free options. Barely waited on. No spice/ bland tasting, I can make better pasta.
This place is a must go for Itslian cuisine. Food and service was top notch.
Amazing place , table was running late but when we did all get seated the waiter who was excellent went out his way to make it up to us .
Food portions are massive and best shared .
They even gave a little pudding birthday cake for the wife.
Overall worth the wait for a top class restaurant.
Amazing food and great service, buzzy smart atmosphere
We waited a while for a good table, but it was worth it. Excellent food!
The wait staff were phenom! Attentive without being too intrusive. The food was delish! I had the Seafood Alfredo... it was hands down the best Alfredo I've ever had!! including my own!!
This restaurant was packed to the gills. They had so many tables jammed in there and you could barely walk through. The noise level was ridiculous and you couldn’t even hear across the table. It was like being in a nightclub. The food was mediocre for the price. I have been here once before, but I won’t return after this visit.
30 minutes late to fill reservation. Noise level excruciating. Food and beverages grossly overpriced. Will not return or recommend
Great from reservation to seating. Dish excellent in plating, portion and especially taste. Our waiter was engaging, helpful and prompt. Will be back, and I’ll bring friends.
Would have like to have Italian music playing, but other than that was good.
Poorly executed, very expensive, and generally flavorless Italian food all wrapped into an otherwise great atmosphere with super friendly service. It’s a shame the food wasn’t better.
used to enjoy but I always say out on the patio . It was miserably loud it that we all got A sore throat just trying to communicate to each other. The service was great the food was good but I will never go to your restaurant again. Painfully loud
We had the giant meatball as an appetizer, not as heavy as one would think and excellent. Eggplant was perfect and the Louie was good. My only issue was the choice and tempo of the music. Is this more night club then restaurant? Music was a little loud and not music one would normally choose for fine dining.
Service was first class and regardless of the music we would probably visit again.
We decided to go there for Sunday brunch. We were the first people there when they opened the doors at 10. We asked to sit outside. They proceeded to take us to the very far end of their space. Aweful conditions. I normally ask to be moved but since the service was not attentive, I figured forget it. Had to get up and go inside to get coffee delivered. Food was just ok. Ordered the lobster eggs Benedict and it was so tasteless that I left part of it behind. Will never go back. Super disappointed.
Consistently good! Great service and food
I had the steak and it came out burnt, the fish had bones in it. The only good thing from the menu is the meatballs. Server was ok, took them 10 minutes to come say hello and bring water once we were seated. Was highly disappointing and will not return to Lavo.
Birthday! Everything was delicious and the service is outstanding!
We sat outside and the weather and atmosphere were perfect! Food and drinks were very good! Great place to go.
Everyone was friendly, professional and great!!! The food was excellent!!
We booked Lavo after our wedding as we wanted somewhere special to celebrate our special day. The staff in Lavo were friendly, welcoming and polite as well as being extremely knowledgeable about their menu items with sound recommend actions based on our taste. I couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough to be honest as the quality of the food was outstanding- don't miss out on the meatball, it's something very special.
Even with our reservation, we waited 45 minutes for our table. The restaurant was extremely loud and our party of 4 couldn’t visit without shouting. Our server was attentive and polite and we all enjoyed our meals.
Booked a 7:30 reservation and didn’t get seated until 8:10. Not acceptable. Each time (4x) we asked for an update our “table was being cleaned”. Waitress and rest of the staff were excellent but the front check in area needs help.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Lavo. We arrived about 20 minutes ahead of our reservation and decided to sit at the bar and order cocktails. The bar was beautifully lit and comfortable. Our drinks were delicious.
We asked to be seated and were sat at a corner booth (our preference) with a distant view to the strip. We ordered a salad to share and entrees. All was really delicious. My wife ordered the eggplant parm appetizer with a side of rigatoni and thoroughly enjoyed it. I requested a pasta dish, the Penne Seafood Alfredo - a mix of scallops and shrimp in a great sauce that includes lobster butter. It was a bit salty but was so savory that I will find it difficult not to order it when we return to Lavo. It is a captivating and appealing restaurant to eat in. Our only issue, a small one, was that the restaurant ran out of pomegranate juice by 6:30 pm - but they did get some from another restaurant in the Venetian/Palazzo complex inside of 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend it if you're looking for great Italian food - it was our favorite dinner meal of the week.
We got sat in a corner facing the wall right next to where they set glassware. They packed way too many tables. At one point or another I kept getting knocked around by the wait staff. We kindly asked after we got our food to get our checks quickly so we can leave. Even such a simple request was met with disappointment. The noise level was unbearable for a $$ restaurant. It’s like they want the noise that loud especially with blasting the noise so high. Is a Monday night for crying out loud.
All in all horrible experience. We ordered the meatball and the texture was just off. My wife asked specifically if there was any cheese in her dish which there was but was told otherwise. Just horrible. Busy or not for the money I expect better.
I would give more than 5 stars for the service if I could. Food was delicious. Good portion sizes. Expensive, but no more expensive than other strip restaurants.
The view is amazing and the food outstanding. The portions are huge. We ordered veal milenase and chicken Parmesan. The helpings are enough for two. You can eat outside and have a great view of the strip.
We celebrated our 49th anniversary. When we told the waitress she brought our a dessert with Happy anniversary written on the plate in choc. It was a very special touch
We arrived just as they opened at 10 am for brunch. We ordered immediately and we all (8 in our group) received our food after 40 minutes. My dad ordered eggs and didn’t get his food for 55 minutes. Very very slow service. Excellent food and friendly staff.
Really wanted to love Lavo. Had checked it out before we made the reservation and was impressed with the decor.....classy and decadent. The actual meal and dining experience was not as nice as Lavo looks. First, all restaurants should ban bench seating when they get to a certain price point. My goodness who want to sit on a bench 8nches away from another diner when it is a $$ or $$ restaurant. We were obviously seated at the bench. The food was not impressive in presentation or in taste. I had the minestrone and seriously it disappointed in every way imaginable; have not been to Olive Garden in many years but I believe at least their minestrone, salads and bread are vastly superior to Lavo. The main course was supposed to have prosciutto and what was served was ground beef......now maybe someone takes the time to grind perfectly good prosciutto to look like ground beef; seriously doubt it. Sure looked and tasted like ground beef; needed to conduct a Species identification on the meat to see if pork or beef. Waitress was awesome and gracious.
Service was terrible! Food was great one of my favorites when I go to Vegas not anymore
