Great attention to detail by service staffer, loud crowd so not the best for talking across table.
Service was no good. I expect better service at these prices. Should not hand to ask for water or a bread plate.
Very fast accurate service. Also, very packed and a little loud but great food and service!
I met Grant the GM for the 1st time. He was bey nice and gracious. I have been coming to LAVO for over a decade and they treated me like family. I took colleagues there for the 1st time and were not disappointed.
Niki our server - outstanding!! Thank you Shannon for seating us in her station.
Thank you LAVO for a wonderful evening.
Great food, terrible service.
Best meal and overall dining experience I’ve had in Vegas. Great food and great service!
Brought a table of 5 for a business dinner and it was phenomenal. Their meatball appetizer is outrageous- flavorful and all the right spices. That bread is so good you'll ask for seconds. We mostly all order chicken parm and it's the best I've had in a long, long time.
A must try is the tiramisu (I've had a lot of tiramisu and this is as good as any I've ever had). But for me the cap of the great evening was the fried Oreos. Mind. Blown.
LAVO was amazing. The meatball is to die for. I also had the seafood pasta which was also outstanding. Service was great. Can’t wait to go back!
This was our first time dining at Lavo. It was really great. We went for the Sunday Brunch. It was definitely different than any brunch we have ever been to. The food was really good. There were fresh options from the kitchen on the brunch menu. It was really good. We will be back.
Lavo is what people hate about Las Vegas. The food was expensive and not very good. The Chicken Parm was ridiculously large and tasteless. The Penne with Alfredo sauce had a weird taste to it. We barely touched our food, but the waiter said nothing. They are used to people being disappointed.
My favorite place to eat in Vegas! The meatball is a must have
Another delicious meal, with top notch service. Chicken Parm is the best I’ve had.
Was busy and very loud but we a nice time. Food was really good and the service was wonderful. Overall a wonderful evening.
Food was perfect and service was quick and friendly.
Great experience and food, probably the culinary highlight of our trip. We will be back.
Would recommend making reservations else where, food was not properly cooked, service was mediocre, and for the value I would definitely look else where.
Food was plain.wrong bottle of wine delivered to table, taste was average..I’m sorry but very disappointed
Service not good. We ordered dessert and we waited for 30 mins.
We have died at this restaurant many times, and it has become our favorite in Las Vegas. We decided to try it for Thanksgiving dinner. And it was the best Thanksgiving dinner we have ever had! Absolutely delicious, great service. We are so happy that we tried it for Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving dinner. Was perfect.
My husband and I went for diner at Lavo on Wednesday November 27th. We booked a reservation on line a few hours before going with no problems.
Very nice atmosphere, quiet and relaxing restaurant.
We asked for a light wine and our server proposed 2 wines which she brought over for us to taste. This is a great plus to be able to taste the wine before choosing. We also mentioned that we wanted to split the entree (Cesar salad), no issues. And our server suggested that we split the main course also ( chicken parm and a side of spaghetti tomato and basil).
This was a wonderful suggestion since the portions are quite large.
Great dinning and great service.
On the negative side which is not that much of an issue, is that we found the service to be a bit fast.. in and out in an hour or so.
We found it to be pricy 125$ US. We are Canadians so at the end with the money exchange, it’s a costly meal, considering that we split the entree and the main course, and had one glass of wine each, no desert, and no coffees.
But overall we would recommend the Lavo.
Such lovely food. A little pricey but the meatball is to die for
While Lavo does have the best meatball I’ve ever had, I’d recommend NOT going on the weekend. Unless you want to dine while hearing a SCREECHING CACOPHONY of rap/hip-hop music blasting from the speakers. Inside and out. Totally ruined the ambience of the dining experience.
We went there to celebrate a special occasion and the waiter came when we were done with our meals to ask how everything was going. Not a good service and they don’t do anything for special occasions apparently.
Food and service was great. I noted on the booking and when we arrived it was my daughters birthday, bit disappointed they didn’t acknowledge just writing happy birthday on the dessert plate would have been greatly appreciated. Would recommend and go back again when next in Vegas.
Great food, great server and most of all a great vibe. Listen people if you are coming to Vegas I highly recommend this place. GREAT ITALIAN FOOD AND SERVICE
We shared some entrees and apps amongst coworkers in town for work. Every bite and sip were blissful, the different palates in our group were all delighted. Our server David was knowledgeable and helpful.
I was skeptical when I saw the pizza come out in the shape of a flatbread, but don’t worry! it
It is true wood-fired pizza that even made this New Yorker happy.
Diners beware! They canceled my reservation 5 minutes before my reservation time, when I was already there! No apology or anything. They just blamed it on a private party. If that was the case, a call earlier would have been warranted before I made the journey to the restaurant. On my last visit, there were some issues with the rudeness of the host staff, and this just took the cake. The food is good, but if this is the level of service, I would recommend passing on Lavo.
I love the setting. Service was great. The meatball and chocolate peanut butter cake will bring me back.
From the greeting till we left, great experience! Food was fantastic. Amazing wine list. Couldn't be more happy with this location!
The veal parmigiana was exceptional. The carbonara was more like an alfredo but still delicious. Save room for desert.
It was my birthday, and this was my "must try" restaurant. unfortunately it was an awful experience and so disappointing. The food was average at best. I was really excited to try a bunch of things and we ordered three appetizers and two entrees between the two of us. None of them were remarkable, and two of them had to be sent back because they weren't preparded correctly. Ugh. The worst parts were the service though, which was nonexistent. And, we had a 9:00 reservation that specified that was my birthday. We were told when we checked in at 8:45 but there was no table for us and we could just wait outside. We were finally seated at 9:45. No one apologized for the wait. We were seated outside which was very unexpected as it was quite chilly and breezy. No one brought us water until we asked for it at 10:10. By then we were one of the last tables on the deck. overall it was just really disappointing. No one mentioned my birthday or apologized for the missteps. I had such high expectations and I was so disappointed. I feel like this restaurant group doesn't care if you have reservations or not, because I've had the same sort of experiences at beauty and Essex and Tao.
I had the pleasure of trying out LAVO with my group of six. Our serving team was on the ball and fabulous. We sat outside, which was wonderful because we had the ambience of both LAVO and the Strip, but without the volume of the indoor dining. We each tried a different meal. The baked salmon was the winner of the table. WOW. The penne alla vodka was a little lacking, but yummy. The brussels sprouts were unique, but the honey sweetness turned off a couple of us, was amazing to others. The Chicken Agnolotti with wild mushrooms in the mushroom demi-glace was incredibly delicious and the sauce was used by almost everyone at the table for dipping bread, salmon, pasta, fingers... it was yummy. We would definitely go back again!
We were seated right away! Loved being outside on the heated patio. Nice atmosphere, absolutely delicious food. Will definitely go back when I am in Vegas.
Great food and wine!
Been here 3 times and excellent all times. This last time it seemed it took longer for someone to come to the table after being seated. The place was not busy at all during this time. Outside of this, this place is amazing and it's one of our favorites
2nd time to Lavo and they delivered! Patio dining has nice ambience, dinner (branzino for my wife, bolognese for me) well prepared, service top notch. And dont pass on the 21 layer choc and peanut butter cake it's a treat that you can eat for days,
Excellent service and amazing food!!
