Everything was amazing and fantastic!!! The ambiance was great. Service was exceptional. Food was fantastic. It all would have been perfect if I had not received a text message 30 minutes after my reservation time from the restaurant asking if me and my party were going to honor our reservation all while having already been sitting at our table for 40 minutes, dining on delicious chips & salsa and amazing appetizers served by funny and engaging servers waiting for our entrees to be delivered. After I let the server know about the text, a hostess came over to me/my groups table while our entrees ARE being served and berating me why I got the text (I don’t know, I didn’t send it to myself), and if we are still going to eat there (she LITERALLY had to move out of the way for the servers to deliver our entrees 😳). Beyond that, AMAZING!!!

The food was good as it always is, but the service was really poor. We waited for quite a while for our chips and salsa, then long weights between our server checking on us. We ended up waiting almost a half an hour for the check. Very disappointing. And not sure I’ll be back.

The restaurant does not honor Open Table reservations. The hostesses were not very helpful when we said we had a reservation for 8 people at 7pm. The hostesses claimed the reason we didn’t have a table was because they became busy with other diners. We were just given a pager and told the manager is “working on a table”. Overall we waited an hour and 40 minuets for table. I suggested they take their restaurant off of Open Table that way others don’t show up at Lauriol Plaza thinking they have a reservation.

Very disappointed in what happened on May 3. I had a reservation and was bringing a friend to try Lauriol Plaza which I had been to before and enjoyed. We waited in line for about 10 minutes then got to the hostess. We were then told it was a 30-40 minute wait even though we had a confirmed reservation! Never had that experience before. Did they overbook? What is the point of having a reservation if you then have to wait for that long to be seated? As a result, we left and my friend will never be back to try it. Management needs to do better and honor reservations the way all other restaurants do.
