   Despite having my booking confirmed by email and checking opening times on the website the place was closed when I got there. 8 months pregnant and with limited time available for tea in the first place it was a pretty spoiled evening.

   This little place is going to be a great venue for live acts. It just needs some tlc which I’m sure the owners will be working towards. The restaurant area would be massively improved by just turning down the bright lighting and using more fairy lights to create a more intimate atmosphere (and hide the tattiness - most places that have low lightening would look pretty bad in the bright light) Staff were exceptionally welcoming and obliging and I really hope they make a success of it. Whitley Bay needs more diverse places for everyone to frequent. It’s becoming a great place again for an evening out without turning it back to the rowdy days of South Parade.

   Really enjoyed the Geordie tapas dishes. My friend and I shared the mini Yorkshire puddings with braised beef and gravy, panhaggerty and triple cooked chips. The food was spot on, delicious and tasty. Will definitely return and order more dishes next time.

   Something new and different on offer, never had Geordie Tapas before, but thoroughly enjoyed them - they were good! Quirky surroundings, with a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and helpful staff. Went upstairs for the Comedy Club, which was really entertaining, and then finished off in the lounge with a great singer. All round very good night out.
