If guests just need some premium meat to bring home to cook, the butcher shop has its own entrance at the side of the building where guests can peruse all kinds of cuts of beef, lamb, pork and various kinds of house made sausages and pate. Naturally, Laurelhurst Market's menu focuses on the many fine cuts of meat that are cut on-site as well as farm fresh produce. Appetizers include the Charcuterie Board that features house made cured meats and pates with seasonal mostarda and house pickles. The most popular entrées are the dry-aged bone-in New York strip steak and the Ribeye seak. The food was very good; my black cod dish was very well cooked - the vegetables were a bit over done. My friend loved the steak frites, but was watched burger after burger come out of the kitchen and that looked amazing - definitely need to try that next time!

Took my mom here for Mother’s Day, we shared the ribeye steak and wedge salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and flavor of everything was perfect. We did sit outside on the patio during a hot 85 degree evening, which was rough but they were very accommodating and doing everything they could to keep us cool. Lovely experience!

We ordered a chilled roasted vegetable salad, steak frites, wagyu flat iron with foie gras, a burger with bacon, and the kids mac & cheese, plus a couple of cocktails. The salad was chilled, which I missed in the description, but worked perfectly on a warm night, starting off our rich meal with something delicious, refreshing, and healthy. The steaks pleased the people who ordered them, so the menu descriptions are good. The cocktails, burger, and mac & cheese are solid.

we had a great server. the steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. kids loved the fries. octopus starter was excellent. flan(dessert) was delicious. our server helped us select an excellent wine. thank you for a wonderful dinner with family. my youngest said the mocktail was the best:)

We are pescatarian, so entrees were limited. There was one seafood entree, but we decided to stick with salads and sides. The griddled cornbread with honey and herbed butter was fabulous, and the beet salad with goat cheese, winter citrus, shaved fennel and pistachio was beautiful and delicious. For sides, we opted for the mac & cheese with caramelized onion, the roasted carrots, and a zucchini dish, all of which were very tasty. The martinis were well crafted, and they have a nice selection of wine by the glass or bottle. Our server was very good, and the ambience was lively and fun. We would go back for the cornbread alone! Since the restaurant is in our neighborhood, I'm sure we will return.

Sat outside. Food was great and our server was excellent. We sat outside street adjacent so it was a bit noisy but we could still talk. Bench seat was not super comfortable but it didn’t ruin our experience.

Food tasted great! Service was alright. Reason for my rating is that my date got very sick after and throughout the night. The only thing we didn’t share was her salmon. It’s unfortunate that, this was our experience because after that we won’t return to Laurelhurst Market.
