Even though I made a reservation, they never asked if we had one and were just seated, which was nice if you didn't have a reservation. Waitress was nice, but we waited a while for her to take our order. Long wait for drinks. My dinner came out before my sons and husband's. My dinner was also less than warm (Laurel Benedict). I had finished my dinner before everyone else received their dinner. We were told they only have 2 burners. How do you run a bistro if you don't have the facilities to cook everything on your menu. My son's shrimp and grits was hot and cold in spots. They need to get their act together. Seems like the flatbreads were a big hit with other guests.

Not the best day from Laurel Haven. Place unfortunately under planned and understaffed for the day. Arrived 2 hours after opening, brunch menu no longer being served due to being sold out. Ordered wine, apps and flat breads , over an hour later still didn’t have apps or lunch. We were then told not sure why apps weren’t ready and that all flat breads have been sold out. Then told us at 230 pm we could order the brunch menu. As all this is going on, about 100 flys were around our table as well as the others around us. Manager/Owner did try to make up for it with a free app, but the overall dining experience was already ruined from the flys and service.

Busier day, may have impacted the service which was a little slow but we were not in a rush. Eggs were poached nicely. Our group liked the Brut and Chardonnay. Shrimp and Grits were good, nice creamy grits, shrimp, asparagus. Hollandaise for Benedicts was a little skimpy for the toasted croissants…Nice venue, lovely day. Definitely recommend

It was a great experience. I do understand they just starting with food. It took awhile to get food. Everyone was finished eating by time I got my food so I just brought home.
