We are back and open for all Victorians! We have missed you Melbourne.
The fire is on and toasty for woodfired pizzas from:
Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 11am to 5pm
We are a weather dependent venue so please check the forecast before you book if you'd like to sit outside.
About us: Our Family are from the Aeolian Island, nested above Sicily.
Our cellar door - Giuseppe's - is named after Catena's beautiful Father, from Lipari, who was passionate about his wine, garden and family. We focus on supplying local, fresh produce from Victoria, with an emphasis on Gippsland. Our food is prepared with the same love and passion as Catena's mother Angelina taught us. We produce fresh, seasonal food from our woodfire pizza oven and support local producers.
Our cellar door restaurant is situated on our vineyard and showcases the breathtaking views of Mt Baw Baw.
We are dog-friendly, we ask that you come round the back with your dog as our maremma Bella and Sampson can be a bit protective.

Booked for my wife’s birthday after finding it a social media feed. Food was amazing & the wines weren’t too bad either!! The pizzas were divine and the service was warm & friendly. Thanks for a great afternoon, it was well worth the drive to get there. We will definitely be back!!

Very good views of mountains, fields and clouds. The pizzas are great. Some of them are made with farm-grown ingredients and local food. Their mandarin cake is amazing! Their wines are good too. Recommend the cab sauv.

Had a lovely lunch here with friends visiting from the city. Food and wine both fabulous, staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambience is like sitting in a good friend's country garden...with amazing views of the vines and surrounding hilly farmland.

Relaxed casual atmosphere, warm olives, crunchy fat chips, wood fired pizza perfectly cooked and the toppings were locally sourced and delicious. A couple of glasses of Angelina and a warm and weihost, what more could you wish for!!!
