Food is very good, but service the night I was there was not very good. Very busy.

I ordered grilled seafood as a lighter option and it came swimming in butter. In terms of service, the waiter kowtowed to my husband and virtually ignored me. I thought this was 2018, but the service felt like 1950s.

Would never go back.

As good as my clam and lobster appetizer was, I think the artichokes were the big winner. My wife enjoyed her bronzino and I enjoyed my steak, which was perfectly cooked. The crime brûlée was a nice finish to our meal. Service was very good. There when you wanted it but not intrusive.

Excellent, attentive service, reasonable prices and portions not excessive. Food quality excellent. Pastas and desserts particularly good.

A great place for a special occasion, or a nice treat. The food is authentic Roman fare, along with dishes typical or based on food from theRoman Ghetto (Though not Kosher.) The staff appreciate diners who want a typical Italian meal with antepasta, pasta (they’re happy to spit a full portion for two people) a secundo (second, or main dish) and dessert. The wine selections are excellent and the wines by the glass are excellent, not just a cheap house wine.

This was my second time at Lattanzi and I was pleased again. They seated my wife and I about 20 min earlier than our reservation, the wait staff was fantastic, and the food was great. Will be a top 5 choice whenever I'm in town.

I have passed by here for decades and always wanted to stop by. I finally did and now I regret not having gone sooner. It's relatively expensive, but the food was great and it's on "Restaurant Row," so it's close to the Broadway theatres. CIO

Went before the theater with my mother, my aunt, and my cousin who were all in town visiting. My aunt is quite picky and even she liked the food. Also, when we told them we were heading to the theater they did a great job of getting our food out in a timely fashion. I would definitely go again.

Great pre-theater spot. I was a little nervous with a party of 8 and 6:30 reservations that we would have trouble getting to the show on time. No worries at all--table was ready for us when we arrived and staff was very accommodating. Food was good, charming and comfortable setting.

The food was delicious , the restaurant itself was lovely and although quite expensive it was worth it but the service was poor, the waiters were not friendly and infact a couple of them were rude and made us feel like we were nuisances rather then paying customers

Meh. Such a cool cavernous space but everything else about the place was just meh. Too many great restaurants in the city to ever need to make the return trip here.

We went for a pre-theater dinner. The location is great. The restaurant is tucked away and cozy. Just the right size to accommodate guests and offer personalized service. The appetizer artichoke dish was delicious - not the traditional Italian stuffed artichoke but rather a delicious Jewish-Italian version. I had the branzino which melted in my mouth. The best I’ve ever had. The cheesecake was ok but I have had better. Service was a little slow at 5pm but was more attentive as the place filled . I will definitely be going back.

Lattanzi is a charming restaurant in the theater district of New York. It is an unusually fine restaurant for that area. It has a calming atmosphere, excellent professional waiters and marvelous food. I had never tasted the fried baby artichokes before, and they were wonderful. I usually order the specials of the day and have never been disappointed.

Delicious food! Made reservations but were not seated right away. Our waiter wasn’t very attentive at the beginning. At one point he poured the wine we had ordered into the wrong glass mixing it with a different kind of wine we had been drinking at the bar..,
Despite that, the food was delicious and we made it to our show with time to spare

We’ve been here many times and this was the worst experience. There were 2 waiters. Waiter #1 thought waiter #2 was servicing our table and vice versa. Guess what that means? No one serviced our table until we asked for a waiter more than 30 minutes after being seated. We were not happy considering we were heading to a show. Bill comes and double charge for the bottle of wine. Thanks for the 2 comped beers.

Great find in the heart of restaurant row. Perfect for a pre show meal.

They honor reservations, which is a big plus.

Food is very good and the atmosphere is as well. Separated into several rooms. We sat in one of the back rooms, which was great.

Recommend.

I get that it’s Saturday night and New Years weekend but tonight service was way off. We felt like an after thought as the usually attentive staff were less than attentive. We will return when less tourists are in town. Perhaps it’s all just too much.
