Still my pre-theater go-to, not that I wouldn’t go for any other occasion. Spectacular food, charmingly served. It’s a restaurant experience that’s disappearing from NYC: expensive without being pretentious.
Food and service was fantastic! Very romantic and inviting place. Servers were attentive and friendly. I loved the decor and vibe. I highly recommend this place!
food and ambience were great. loved the flat bread with olive oil they bring to table. the bronzini oreganata was very good as well as teh fettucini bolognese. tiramisu for dessert was good also. the only thing that went wrong was that my husband's cappucino came out late and it was room temperature. my husband thought the service was a bit abrupt but i reminded him this is a theatre district restaurant and they are mindful of people going to shows. otherwise it was a perfect night!
It was our first time at Lattanzi. We decided to check it out before seeing Moulin Rouge (the location is perfect). Absolutely outstanding food. The Risotto Alla Milanese is a must. The service was fantastic as well. The wait staff were so attentive to our table and our glasses were never empty. Will definitely go again
I’ve been to a lot of great Italian restaurants - Lattanzi has no wow factor. Food was ok. Service is ok. I expect more.
I always have a wonderful experience here however this time I felt the food wasn’t seasoned well and very rushed.
Service was wonderful. Loved the round table in the corner. Great atmosphere. Food was just average, so not sure I will go back.
Our go to place post theater. It feels a bit rushed but we’ve always had a very good meal.
This was a lovely place to eat at prior to seeing a show or any other time. Great atmosphere and incredible service.
We had a problem with our theatre tickets and the staff solved it. The meal was excellent. We left completely satisfied and happy. Will return.
The food, the service and the ambiance was superb!
Food was good but they charged 21% tip for lunch wo asking
They said they include tips sometimes and changed words in a min that they do always do that after pandemic
Pleasant, quiet restaurant with soft, appropriate background music and a nice menu and prompt, attentive service. All food was tasty and presented well. Wine chosen was not available and the recommended substitute was not the best. Prices border on steep, especially for desserts.
I went for a restaurant week everything tasted delicious but it was not $60 worth of food. The wine was also $15 a glass. Amazing service though
Great dinner, great staff, great place overall. Would come back
Amazing dinner at Lattanzi. First of all, the restaurant is so charming and cozy - feels like you're taking a step back in time. I started with the lentil soup - which was delicious. I then had the branzino oregana - fantastic. I finished with the Napoleon pastry, which was out of this world. The service was outstanding. And even though it was a cold and quiet January night, there were a few celebs dining there - which made it all the more fun. I look forward to returning soon.
Beautiful restaurant in an awesome location. Very romantic!
Our appetizer and entree's were superb. My lasagna was so fresh that it melted in my mouth.
This incredible food however ended there. We were both disappointed with the dessert. I had their twist on a cannoli which was two small hardened cannoli shells that crumbled upon cutting. Within them was a tasteless cheese filling. My wife ordered the Tiramisu which was more like a custard cake.
We were saddened as had it not been for the dessert, this would have resulted in a 5 star review.
So delicious! That signature artichoke…. although a tad greasy (which may have added to the great flavor and crispy edges) was out of this world… The special lasagna was light and creamy. Yes, I said light when describing a lasagna dish! Amelio, the owner/ manager was so welcoming.. I will be returning ASAP I can assure you.
Made a reservation for after a 2 pm show. My family gave a recommendation. The staff was attentive from the start, gave suggestions, the pace of service was very good. We had pasta meals which were served hot and very tasty. Had the home made chocolate ice cream. Fabulous. Never felt rushed.pricing was appropriate. Close to theatre and hotel on a frigid day. Plan to go back!
The tables are far apart and you can have a conversation without raising your voice.
The entire table had seafood appetizers and entrees. Food was fresh, flavorful with ample portions. Desserts were also great. Service was attentive.
Birthday trip to New York.
Truly good food, and great service. The perfect place for a dinner before the theater!
Terrific pre-theater dinner. Wonderful food, service and ambiance and always timely!
This continues to be my favorite New York restaurant. Thank you for another delicious meal!
Excellent restaurant- highly recommend.
Excellent, attentive service. Food was basic, simple, Italian fare, but nothing special. Did not like that I could taste the powdered beef bouillon used in the sauce for the Portabella mushroom ravioli.
Happy to see that restaurant was full.
Always a pleasure dining here.
Excellent service. Very accommodating to our requests and dietary restrictions. A great experience overall.
Pre theater dinner….Food was fine but not special…..one guest was not crazy about their carbonara….chicken dish was so so. Desserts were good
Excellent food as well as service. Highly recommend!!!
Delicious food reasonable prices and very good service made for a very good experience
Great dining experience with wife and two kids. They didn’t ask for vaccination cards. Everywhere else we’ve eaten in NYC has verified vaccination cards.
Very comfortable and quiet. Nicely spaced tables. Great service and we all enjoyed our food.
Todo muy sabroso, excelente atención.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the ambience was perfect.
Anniversary dinner the food was as good as Italy the service amazing the presentation great the intimate comfortable space is really nice it would have been nice if they gave us a desert for our anniversary celebration & they didn’t even wish us a happy one but it’s ok we were so pleased with the food And service we will be back here for sure.
Lovely dinner with my sisters before the theater - very attentive and pleasant waitstaff, cozy, but not crowded ambience, delicious dinner.
The food was absolutely amazing. The whole table ordered pasta dishes. We ordered quickly and within 15 minutes we were eating. Constantly filling our wine and water glasses and we’re very kind. Will definitely be back!
First dinner in NY and this gem of an Italian restaurant delivered, fantastic staff, great wine and the food was authentic and delicious and served quickly as well, glasses were never empty, highly recommend this place if you are nearby in the city.
All I can say is EXCELLENT!!!
