The food and the service was impeccable! Our server Jimmy G. and his assistant took care of our every need and the food was fabulous. I had the Vitello al Funghi and it was cooked to perfection and the portions were plentiful.
Lattanzi is an old stand by the never disappoints. So glad they survived the pandemic and see to be doing a good business now that the heaters are open.
Great up-scale restaurant on restaurant row. Good bar/wine list and great selection of pastas and entrees. Portions were on the smaller side though.
The food was delicious. The service was almost too good in that we had waiters or busboys checking in with us constantly, almost too often. Lastly the manager wore his mask under his chin while moving around the restaurant, seating people etc. That was infuriating when literally all employees we saw were masked.
The food and service were incredible! Will return soon!
Great experience with a large group per theater!
Great food, great service, we will be back
They tried to
great restaurant. Have been eating here after the theater for years.
An absolutely fabulous dinner in a very beautiful restaurant. The veal was absolutely outstanding. The service was excellent as well. A wonderful evening all the way around
Eddie and team are simply the best! Never, ever disappoint. Food was top notch, as always. I have been dining at Lattanzi on business for years, but this was the first time I shared the experience with my wife and she loved it! There’s a reason Lattanzi has been around for decades. It’s the best dining experience in the city. Cheers to you all for another great evening.
Excellent food and great service. Enjoyed the restaurant and not rush, we were able to relax and enjoy'
Pre theater meal. Very relaxing and not rushed.
I made a reservation for 345 pm on open table. I showed up for the reservation and it was chained shut. I tried to call and it went to voicemail. They said they'd call back within an hour. They never called. I can't say anything about the food, but anyone who runs a business this way can't really take care with much of anything. Which means, consumer beware.
It was terrific and really reasonably priced. Have recommended to friends and will continue to recommend.
Very delicious dinner! Grilled octopus appetizer was outrageous! We all loved it. The branzino was the best I had. Can’t wait to return!
We found Lattanzi recently and have brought our friends with us every time we go to the theater. Friendly and caring service and wonderful dishes at reasonable prices. Great bar as well. It is now our go to restaurant in the theater district.
Lattanzi is an italian restaurant that does it all!
the menu features a variety of items that you won't see on other menus - and the food is prepared and served wonderfully!
The location is perfect if you are seeing a broadway show - actually, Lattanzi is worth a trip and you can spend an evening there enjoying the delicious food and the attentive service-
Be sure to order anything on the menu that includes artichokes!
Don't miss the beautiful and delicious desserts!
Service and food were incredible!! Wonderful atmosphere
The location, ambiance, and service were all excellent. I’m a red sauce person and theirs was ok but just wasn’t my preference. Their menu is mostly non-red sauce dishes so I’m guessing their specialties lay elsewhere. Regardless, the food was good and the service was excellent, so definitely 4+ stars and worth a visit if you’re near tue theatre district and looking for Italian food.
Great food and ambience.
Service was a little slow. Wrong appetizer was served and needed to be corrected.. Two entrees were only lukewarm when served. No time for dessert because of an early Broadway show and slow service. Somewhat disappointing from a usually excellent restaurant.
Had the Veal OssoBuco special. Outstanding. Do not miss the carpaccio del tunno. Excellent presentation and just right for sharing among the three of us.
Excellent dining experience.
Always always always an amazing hidden gem. From the wait staff to the food. Five stars for all above
Our go-to theater district Italian! Last night we were a party of 6 with a 7:00 PM reservation and waited on the sidewalk until 7:36 to be seated. Not great management, but I do understand how hard it is to tell a table of 6 customers to get out because you need the table.
Fortunately the place clears out for curtain time, so a 7:30 or 7:45 reservation might serve you better.
That said, always reliable, quiet, grown-up, and the food is delicious. LOVE this place.
Loved our appetizer and dessert; the entree was okay. Very attentive and quick service in a lovely setting.
old school heavy sauce but fish good quality, bread stale , Dessert and coffee great
i have been dining at Lattanzi for over thirty years. The ambiance, service and cuisine have always been and are still today top notch. Lattanzi is an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
The artichoke gnocchi was unbelievable!
Though pricy it was worth every cent secs use of the wonderful service and fabulous food!
I find this restaurant to be a lovely experience.
Food is incredible, it is like being in Italy. My favorite NYC restaurant. Great service, a lot of value for the. Money.
Consistently fabulous. We have been coming here for more than 30 years.
Fantastic experience, will definitely be back! Great service and food.
Having not visited since prior to COVID, we were delighted to return to our favorite restaurant. There was a crush of people leaving just as we arrived for our 7:45 reservation, so we didn't mind having to wait a few minutes for a table to be set. It was nice to see the same faces working the floor...it continued to be busy well after 9! Service was efficient...water and bread basket arrived immediately and we were left to peruse the menu. Sincere apologies from the head waiter for not getting us the wine list. (He was crazy busy, so no worries there!) We ordered wine and our first and second courses. Great timing on food service. We felt neither rushed nor neglected. The arugula and pear salad is a favorite, covered in a beautiful thin sheet of Parmigiana-Reggiano. My husband enjoyed the beef carpaccio which was topped with arugula and the same thin sheet of cheese....the flavor combination that one would get in Rome. Delicious! The Amatriciana pasta was perfectly al dente, and the veal piccata was tender and lemony. No room for dessert, but we noticed a delicious-looking slice of tiramisu at the neighboring table that was enjoyed by the 3 people dining there. If you want a nice meal without being rushed, you need to reserve after 7:45 so they don't confuse you with the pre-theater crowd.
Great! Food and service was perfect!
