              Server was in serious need of real training. Food was meh. So disappointing after reading recent article! I’m returning to Orso — or anywhere else — when in the nabe.

              The staff rushed us even though we were long before the theatre rush. The food was average, tomatoes were not ripe, seafood was chewy and slightly overcooked, the Napoleon was stale. It was fine, but l won’t return. Much better options in Manhattan.

              we came in at 5:15 to a pretty much empty restaurant with my 10 year-old. They took us through the main dining room and around to the back room. Why not give us a good table in the main room when it's completely empty. I even dropped Matthew Broderick's name recommended the place! They did give my son free coconut gelato at the end which was pretty darn good. Tartufo was also good. I guess we did pretty well on the desserts. Cacio E Pepe was average at best and kind of stupidy. Warm mozzarella in the Caprese salad almost made up for the unremarkable tomatoes. Bread basket could be greatly improved. Who doesn't like a great bread basket?

              Food is outstanding! However there was a party of 5 that were quite obnoxiously loud. There was plenty of room in another room … not sure why we weren’t seated there but perhaps we just should have asked to be moved.

              Food was delicious. Slight negative for uneven service, delay in getting drinks, getting order in, which was surprising. But our party of six enjoyed our experience overall and look forward to returning to a classic style restaurant.

              I came to Lattanzi for a quick lunch and it was as great as dinner, I had my favorite apps, artichokes and octopus and they were delicious as usual. The food and service was great and the staff was very attentive and friendly, truly a place that makes me feel home. Will be back!
