Everything about our experience was fantastic! The service was great & our food was extremely tasty, best escargot & braised short ribs we’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back!
The food and service was excellent
Our dinner, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. We will definitely be back to dine there again soon!
Been going to Latour for most of their 25 years. It is by far my favorite restaurant in Bergen County.
It was fine dining. All in all a very good experience.
I requested a 4 top. It was not provided. After sitting down & looking around I saw a number of empty tables, then …
Latour is the perfect place for a special occasion. It is also a great place to have dinner with family and friends. It is charming and welcoming - many French restaurants cannot say that. The food was scrumptious from Appetizers to Desserts. My husband and I shared the goat cheese ravioli and the fallen cheese soufflé, both were delicious. Our entrees were duck breast cooked to perfection and roasted short ribs, also delicious. Normally we skip dessert but it was our anniversary so we indulged. We will return to enjoy the food, the ambiance and the top notch service!
Food was delicious ! Quality outstanding. Service was wonderful.
Excellent cuisine presented well. Magnificent chef.
Very nice food , a bit dated decor
Without doubt, one of the very best restaurants in north Jersey, and perhaps the state. Entrees are creatively prepared, varied menu with exquisite French cuisine dishes. Service is professional and you are often greeted by the chef and owner Michael Latour before the evening is over. His pride in ownership is refreshing.
Outside was fine!
Service and food was excellent!
Latour's menu is back to where it was pre-Covid, with many delicious choices on the printed menu and a variety of specials described verbally by our server. As usual, the sauces on the respective dishes were deeply flavored and delicious.
We both had the special appetizer, the seafood crepe with lobster/seafood sauce. The spinach crepe was super-thin but held up well for the chunks of seafood. The duck breast entrée had a demi-glaze sauce that bathed the slices of duck just enough, with sides of vegetables, rice and pickled cabbage.
Chef Michael made the rounds to speak to diners, whether "regulars" or first time patrons.
Many thumbs up. Don't forget to BYOB!
Probably the best restaurant in Bergen County. Not inexpensive yet a great value. This is a must if you are a foodie.
Delicious as always!
I took my boyfriend to Latour for his birthday. Neither of us had been to this restaurant before but the reviews were very good so I decided to try it.
The evening was great. The food was very good and beautiful! Excellent service too. It is BYOB which was nice. The chef, who I had read about, came out to speak to us. He was charming and obviously took pride in each dish. We will definitely be dining at Latour again.
What a great find! We enjoyed our meal last night at Latour Restaurant. The food was amazing, and the service excellent. We can't wait to go back.
Out door seating secondary to ...ya know so right by the train tracks, but kinda gave it an authentic , I'm in France feel. Our servers were excellent. Knowledgeable attentive, unobtrusive. But the real kudos has to be Michael, the chef. His dishes are a joy for the eye and the palate, albeit pricey, but worth it. Four of us had a leisurely two hour dinner consisting of appetizers of goat cheese ravioli in a fig sage butter sauce, lamb bolognese over homemade straw and hay fettuccine, escargot drenched in a garlic sauce and smoke salmon over frisse salad with egg whites. Main courses were equally superb: Dover sole cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes and veggies, beef Wellington filled with a yummy concoction of pate and wild mushrooms in a delicate pastry, melt in your mouth ribeye steak and pistachio crusted grouper. Dessert was puff pastries filled with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate fudge.
BYOB. (The chef always comes out to ask how you enjoyed your meal which is a nice touch as are the basket of homemade butter rolls and sweet creamy butter.)
This was our umpteenth visit to Latour and we have yet to be disappointed. Their menu continues to evolve. Last night I had an absolutely delicious rib eye steak - a new addition to their menu. The service was fantastic as usual. Just a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal with a French flair.
Excellent food, we had the lump meat crab cakes, outstanding, plus the escargot, again outstanding. My husband does not usually like escargot, but loved these. We had the specials, beef wellington and the lamb, both out of this world. We came for our anniversary and had a very romantic dinner
Absolutely delicious food, beautifully presented, and the menu is populated with unique items.
Fantastic in every way.
Once again, superb menu and service, and most importantly, the food was delicious 👍👍👍
Really enjoyed our dining experience at your restaurant. Very friendly atmosphere-service was excellent
Always an amazing experience. The chef is gifted beyond words with his French cuisine. The staff are wonderful and super attentive.
Hands down some of the best French food around!
Escargot, french onion soup, duck special and beef wellington where amazing.
Food was excellent. Very quaint setting. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends. BYOB added bonus.
By far my favorite restaurant. The food is outstanding and always cooked to perfection. The specials are always amazing and the staple menu items will never disappoint.
Great meal as usual. Some of our party had the Dover sole and beef Wellington which were excellent. Always a consistently excellent meal at Latour. Love the BYOB aspect. Very attentive, professional staff.
Small intimate relaxing place to enjoy a 5 star chefs creativity. Worth the trip.
We love Latour! Come here for all important occasions. Anniversaries, birthdays, etc.,,
We love all the specials of the day! Amazing food and service every single time!
Excellent service. Predictable & consistent food quality although some ingredients are not fresh. Train noise.
Latour is without question, one of the best dining experiences in north Jersey. The food is imaginative and delicious, the staff is friendly and informed and the atmosphere is lovely inside and outside. My horseradish crusted salmon was perfectly done and the profiteroles made the perfect ending for dessert. My husband and son had equally wonderful meals. Well worth the hour trip to get there.
Great food, excellent service and very accommodating. We sat outside and the only issue are the trains that come by.
Fantastic meal - love that it’s BYOB - great experience. We will definitely be back!
LaTour is a consistently solid restaurant - great food, service and bistro ambiance. Server was very helpful determining gluten free options.
Excellent meal. Quality service and pleasant ambiance. Highly rrcommended
Great ! The food was fantastic , presentation was superb and the specials for appetizers and entrées was outstanding.
Great all around as usual.
Andrea did not serve our table. The server we had was hard to understand.
Latour is a go-to restaurant when you are craving the best in French cuisine and a great atmostphere. The foie gras is phenominal and a must order. The lamb specials are always tremendous. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommended.
It was our date night. We loved the food! The chef came to our table to greet us while we were enjoying our entree. We liked that it was BYOB while it served top-notch food, meaning that the check was only for the food. Usually a restaurant like this would charge so much money on a bottle of wine, for example. We brought our favorite outstanding Italian wine - Brunello di Montalcino. Perfectly matched the food!
