Anniversary dinner. Service was top notch. Owner/chef came out to let us know he is fully staffed unlike others during the pandemic. The food as always is top notch! Also very reasonable for the value.

Food is amazing. Outdoor dining was kind of a mess. Tables and chairs thrown around which did not provide much ambiance. They did not acknowledge our anniversary when I had put a note in the reservation.
Not a good experience and I’ve enjoyed this place before. It looks like it’s in I don’t care mode. Both salads had the worst tomato’s in them and it’s summertime

Excellent atmosphere and food. We chose all specials of the day - exquisite! Tuna tartare with avocado and foie gras were delicious. Owner of this place took time to come to greet personally customers. Food was served in the timely manner. Overall- very positive experience.
Since it’s our 10 year anniversary we need to celebrate at a venue quite fitting for our joyous day. Latour never fails!! Chef Michael and staff are masters of their craft and we highly recommend Latour Restaurant highly!! It’s like dining in Paris at a fraction of the expense!!
The restaurant had two rooms. We sat in the back and it was uncomfortably warm. Walking out we noticed the front room was cooler. Two of us ordered Dover Sole, $52 each this entree needed seasoning and the portion was maybe 5 ounces. My husband’s Lamb did not come out Medium Rare as ordered. I did have the squash Blossom Appetizer and it was delicious. Overall we were all disappointed in the food and the lack of suitable Air Conditioning did not make this a restaurant I would return to any time soon. Expected better

Wonderful dinner at LaTour for a celebration with friends. It was our first visit and we look forward to returning. The appetizers with the zucchini flowers and Brie cheese were awesome as well as the halibut and steak specials. Chocolate mousse and profiteroles were a perfect ending.

Some dishes are excellent while others can be better. Service felt a bit lacking, particularly when seated outside. I really loved my wild mushroom risotto, the zucchini flower appetizer is very nice as well, though my wife found it a bit too heavy. Coq du vin is just so so.

The food is out of this world. The ambience is comforting - no distracting noise. The staff is very efficient and the owner make the rounds to see if your pleased with everything. You just cant beat all that.

This restaurant is an experience everyone should have. The food is on another level compared to the other spots in the area. I live close so it is convenient for me but I would drive an hour to go there. Thanks to Michael and his staff.

Latour does not disappoint. The food is excellent and very inventive. The service is attentive without being obnoxious and the ambiance is very nice. We just celebrated our anniversary there and had a great time. I think its the best restaurant in Ridgewood.

The food was FANTASTIC! The foie gras melted in your mouth and the lamb two ways was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The portion sizes are perfect. I need to return ASAP!

We keep coming back to this restaurant for some more delicious food. It's one of the most authentic French restaurants you can find. All food is delicious however our fav is foie gras, french onion soup and beef wellington. Server is always very attentive. Highly recommend to try.
A birthday outing to fete my wife. We had not been to Latour in years and were happy to see they survived COVID (in every way). Creative and wonderful appetizers including crab strudel and foi gras. Mains of Coq au Vin and “Lamb Two Ways” (I love lamb!) were great and a dessert to cap. Our waiter was attentive without hovering and really helped us make some great choices. Chef came by and expressed his sincere appreciation for our visit. Once they get more business under their belt, an update on decor would be welcome. (Many BYOB places in this town don’t offer nice stems. I wish Latour would upgrade this too.)

The cheese souffle appetizer was gummy and lacked any meaningful texture or flavor. The seafood crepe was overpowered by lump crab meat The Coq au Vin sauce was fairly good, but the chicken was severely overcooked...to the point of being dried and stringy.
On the plus side, my wife's salmon was pretty good.
The Appel streudel dessert had one redeeming quality, the ice cream that came with it. The streusel itself was bland and not worth it.
I've been to Latour before and enjoyed it, so just hoping this was a very off night.

Returning customers - we loved being back at this quaint place. The service was great, our waiter was extremely attentive. The food was very good especially main courses- I had short rib- excellent choice and my husband had beef Wellington- he could not get enough of it. Portions were very good, enough for a hungry person and more. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant! And I definitely will be back even though we’re not from the area
