Latitudes Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
Food was outstanding. Went for Thanksgiving. DidN't know what to expect. Our party wound up sitting in a little private table. Noise level would have been high had we not wound up there. Buffet was not located near our table, however this probably prevented us from over eating . Would definitely recommend.
Attended Thanksgiving dinner buffet there. The staff was OK the hostess was very nice the server was very preoccupied with her friends. We were set on the patio overlooking the boardwalk and the food buffet was clear across the other side of the hotel you had to walk to get your food through lobby in front of the front desk thru guest trying to check in and out and then walk back thru all that to get back to your table. If the food and service had been great I may have discarded the inconvenience but the food was mediocre at best and the service not so hot.
This was Thanksgiving Buffet. Food selection was outstanding. Service was excelent. The variety of food on the buffet included butternut squash ravioli along with roasted vegetables, Turkey , baked salmon and Prime Rib. Overall I highly recomend Thanksgiving dinner at Latitudes and plan on reserving a table next year.
We were a group of four long time friends who have not been able to get together in months. The server was attentive without being overwhelming. She assured us she didn't need the table and allowed us to take up her ability to make tips for almost 3 hours. We did tip generously when we left!
I was traveling for business and found this restaurant on the app, so I went to the restaurant based on the menu they have online. Finding the place was difficult. I did not know it was in the Marriott hotel, nor was there any signs indicating where the restaurant was. The parking garage had two machines for entrance. The one I choose was out of tickets, so I had to backup and go into the second entrance. Once in the restaurant, I was seated. It was pleasant. Once I reviewed the menu, I asked about the item I saw online and was told they no longer offer the item. I went with eggs benedict and hash brown potatoes. All for the lovely price of $15. outrageous! I was told to take my receipt and parking ticket to the Valet personnel, they would stamp my parking ticket. I did just that, they stamped my ticket. I left the parking garage the machine did not read the stamp and still charged me $4 to get out of the parking garage. There wasn't anywhere on the machine to call for assistance or anyone around to offer assistance. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if they could find it.
We love this restaurant. We usually sit outside, which is the best, but for this meal we ate indoors because storms were expected. However, when we left we saw they had put up plastic sheeting against the rain, so from now on we'll always reserve an outdoor table.
Our one suggestion to the management is that they have the Mother's Day Brunch on Father's Day, too. We loved it on Mother's Day, and that's what we expected again.
Had brunch there on Father's Day. I had never been there before and decided to take my dad with my daughter. We were unable to be seated outside as all the tables were filled however, we were seated in a beautiful cozy little room with picture windows to see the water and all happenings on the boardwalk. The food was very good but I had hoped for a carving station as well for a brunch. Price was reasonable and we will return for another visit soon. The staff were excellent . Very friendly and accommodating.
I was extremely dissapointed. The advertised Mother's Day Brunch was nothing even close. Very unorganized. Terrible service. We asked for ketchup 3 times and never got it. Our drinks were never refilled. The buffet food was cold. Poor selection for a brunch. The brunch was supposed to be waterfront and we were in a banquet room with no windows. They could not find my reservation. The banquet room was not even decorated. We sat at a table with a plain white table cloth and nothing else. My children took me for brunch and for them to spend that much money on total dissapointment, left me heartbroken.
I was looking for a restaurant for dinner within walking distance to our nearby hotel that was nicer than the typical casual/divey Broadwalk restaurants/bars. I was very pleased with this choice! Menu provided a variety of choices. We got salads to start which were fresh and ample sized. Entrees were excellent and they had a decent kids menu for my younger daughter. We sat under the covered patio. The only negative was that it was a windy evening, but they cannot control the weather. We had been given option of outside or inside dining. My family really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely return if we visit this area again!
We had two different waiters both very nice, however the kitchen was apparently very backed up it took 45 minutes to get a turkey wrap and chicken quesadillas at some point someone should have told us this, instead we were just waiting and had to track down the waiter to ask what the holdup was. Our waiter was very nice, but then we had to wait 10minutes for our check
Extremely disappointing brunch. Had open table reservation waited an hour while people walked in from the beach and just sat down. The host was a man who was totally disengaged with what was going on and seemed really lost about the process. The website said brunch till noon but they only had the buffet open till noon. The food was just average.
We went for the breakfast buffet and was good. The buffet room is small but there are definitely a few options. Make your own waffles, eggs, french toast and sides. The biscuits and gravy were really good. My brother ordered off the menu and his crab cake sandwich disappeared. You can sit right on the boardwalk with beautiful ocean views.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. My only recommendation is to make a reservation via Open Table at least a day in advance. I made a reservation early in the morning and when I arrived a few hours later, the reservation had not processed. The restaurant, however, was very accommodating and seated us as quickly as possible.
Looking for casual, but full-service, waterside place in Hollywood Beach that wasn't a dive bar. Options few, but Latitudes (beachside at the Hollywood Marriott) was enjoyable. Service polite and attentive. Forgot appetizer which they removed from check without us asking. Food was better than average and prices reasonable. Calamari crisp, Rigatoni Alfredo good but needed salt, chock full of peas and tomatoes and chicken, Salads fresh and Fish and Chips tender though again needed more seasoning in batter. Great place for kids as flip-flops are common. Right on beach about 4/10 mile form bandshell. We will go again when back @ Margaritaville Resort.
We made a reservation for a party of 6 on the outside platform. Everything was great from the beginning when we were greeted in a professional manner. Our waiter Lori was very attentive and prompt to our requests. The food, the wine and later on the music by the fire pit was great.
A very pleasant experience. We plan to return.
I took my best friend there for breakfast we had a reservation. Upon arrival our table was waiting for us. The view is to die for!!!! I mean the ocean is right there. The food was good.. we did the breakfast buffet which included beverages. I would definitely go back and recommend this place... I'm planning on going back for happy hours.
Usually this is a good value. We come often for the mahi sandwich. This was New Years eve so price was high. But the ribeye was perfectly cooked and flavors were great. Breads are always good. Loved our professional waiter Pedro. Hard to get a more comfortable, relaxing spot on the ocean/boardwalk.
