I’ve been a guest at Lattitude’s many times over the years. However, today it took 20 minutes and a request to finally be introduced to our server. Then it took additional 20 minutes to be served a drink. I will say that this is unusual.
Start to finish was excellent!!
Waygu burger best ever had.
Food was delicious and you cannot beat the atmosphere. It was a little warm sitting outside for lunch but it’s worth it for the oceanfront seats. Make reservations well in advance. We were not able to get in for dinner booking a week in advance.
Loved every minute of our dinner at Latitudes. The boat trip over was lovely, we were seated outside, as requested, and had an amazing view. Our dinner lasted nearly three hours and not once did we feel rushed or pressured into finishing up. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was amazing. I wasn’t sure what to expect as many of the restaurants with amazing views trade that off against the food offering but every mouthful was fantastic. We watched the sunset which was a fantastic experience, and then walked along the beach while waiting on the boat back. An amazing night that I would highly recommend.
We almost missed out on our visit because making reservations was not mobile-friendly and a bit was confusing. I tried to book several times to book on my phone and could never get to the end game. However, once I got on my laptop the process was reasonably easy.
The boat ride from Key West was pleasant and convenient.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated, comfortable but classy, and the view is amazing. We actually sat in at the end of the dining room that shared a wall/window with the outside seating. It was the best of both worlds with the window wide open. We had the sun, breeze, and view available outside without the extra humidity. Our server was professional and polished. However, for our preference, his sense of humor was lacking, he could have been friendlier, and he was not very helpful in providing information for first-time guests (i.e. "What else is available to see on the island"? or "How does the ferry return trip work?"). Still, the service was better than most places.
The food... well, the food was incredible! We had a cold soup (as I recall, it was melon with jicama croutons, watermelon, basil and some spice, and droplets of meringue) that was very imaginative and quite delicious. Before we ordered entries, we observed the food others were ordering and noticed the portions were quite large. I ordered the harvest salad with salmon, roasted strawberries and tomatoes, Boursin cheese, and a delicious dressing. My husband ordered the wagyu beef and burger topped with a short rib and blue cheese which came with truffle-parmesan french fries and truffle aioli. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented and we shared our plates and found it impossible to walk away without finishing them.
We also both ordered speciality drinks that were, well, very special.
It wasn't cheap, and we didn't care. All and all, it was a beautiful experience we'll certainly repeat.
Latitudes knows how to make your dining experience memorable. The food was excellent and very well prepared by people who know what they're doing. Our service was impeccable. Michael could not have done a better job. Highly recommend coming here if you want to experience fine dining at it's best. We will definitely be returning.
We have been to Key West many times but our first time at Latitudes. What an incredible experience from the boat ride to the ambience to the food! What a special night, very memorable!
Dan was an excellent waiter. Food was amazing. A must place to visit.
Great food, great views /ambience...pricey...$100 for 2 for lunch with 2 entrees, 2 non-alcoholic and 2 mixed drinks. If you can swing the cost, it's absolutely worth it
Amazing amazing restaurant. The views are incredible. The food was very good and our waiter was excellent. Best part of our Key West trip!
Beautiful scene, couldn't have asked for a nicer day ...which I know Latitudes can't control, but damn if they don't exploit it when it is!
It was a very enjoyable experience. The service was excellent. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. I had the shrimp flatbread and it was beyond my expectations! The flatbread was delicious. We didn't have room for dessert, but decided we had to try the key lime pie. So glad we didn't miss out on that!!
Always a special occasion when you dine there. We did lunch one day(I had a $25 lobster salad that was well worth the price). We did dinner at sunset on a Saturday night which was crowded; but, not an issue. Although a bit pricey ($30-$45 entrees for dinner), it's worth the experience.
Great place! Service and food outstanding. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Best restaurant I’ve ever been to by far! Magical sunset
This place has the best views on the island for a romantic dinner. There are lots of great places to eat, but none can rival the ambiance and experience that come with this restaurant! We even witnessed a marriage proposal (which btw - it is a perfect spot to pop the question)!
We took the last lunch reservation which we find is a good time to go, a little less crowded. Food is great. The tuna tataki was tender and great tasting. I also enjoyed the fish tacos. The salads look very fresh. We plan on returning for lunch in the near future.
Ivo our server was excellent , perfect weather, the food was amazing
Beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous setting.
This was the highlight of our trip. The sunset was so very romantic. It was almost magical and the food was amazing. Everything was fresh and presented well.
Our 5th time? here! Never have been disappointed. Service is impeccable and friendly and the food is very flavorful and artfully presented. We had the Filet and it was tender and flavorful. Also, you have to mention the view! We were lucky to experience one of the most spectacular sunsets we have ever seen in Key West. Make your reservations well in advance, preferably before your trip to Key West as this place fills up very quickly.
het restaurant werd ons aanbevolen door vrienden die eveneens uit Belgie komen, het eten was uitmuntend, het zicht fenomenabel. Het was heel speciaal voor ons om hier te komen.
Nothing less than spectacular! Stunning views from Sunset Key. Romantic boat ride to the private island. Sunset dining.
Wonderful dinner and spectacular venue
We reserved Latitudes for a Mother’s Day Brunch during our cruise stop in Key West. We almost cancelled because we arrived in port in a tropical downpour. We decided to chance it and were happy we did. The Sunset Key ferry is right along the dock near the cruise ship and it whisks you over to Sunset Key in minutes. When you arrive, you are under a covered dock and walkway. We had a beautiful table overlooking the water and the food was delicious. Our favorite was the homemade Key Lime pie. It was probably the best one we ever had. A little oasis in the middle of an aqua sea.
First let me say the views are spectacular along with the ambience. From there it was downhill. We arrived early for our 8 reservation. It took 10 minutes for the bartender to come over and take our order. We were then seated at a nice tab,e for dinner. Our waiter came over and seemed like he could care less about being there. We ordered a nice bottle of wine an appetizers to start. He brought the wine and poured a glass. 10 minutes later he came over and asked for dinner ordered. He asked if we wanted a one, two or three course meal. A bit confused we said no appetizers first, then salads, then main course and please time accordingly. That was the last time we saw him until the check. We poured our own wine, asked for plates to be cleared. Our fish was dry and mediocre like it sat under a warming light. We asked for the check and left to get the boat. We dine out at fine restaurants weekly and did expect that you were paying more for the ambience than food. Saturday morning we had brunch at Havana on Duval and one waitress handled 10 tabl s, made drinks and took time to be friendly with everyone. That’s the service you exo ct when paying 300 for dinner. Sadly I can’t recommend dining here because if expect good food, service and a view. Go for the view but don’t expect anything more from there. Sadly we couldn’t find a manager to let them know our dissatisfied before getting the shuttle.
Beautiful surroundings and atmosphere. Quiet, lovely. Service is ok.
It’s always a special meal at Latitudes! Beautiful sunset and meal presentation.
Wife’s Birthday, shared with friends.
Must do, assuming you love dining on the beach with great food, drinks, and friendly folks. It was hard to find where to catch the free ferry (our fabulous lyft driver told us) it is to the right of Margaritaville if you are facing the front. Then make a left on the boardwalk. You may want to plan your dinner around what time the sunset is setting.
Location superb. Ambience superb. Service excellent. Lobster lunch exceptional. Conch hushpuppies appalling. Other than these dried out tasteless things there was nothing wrong with anything else and in fact the whole experience was as usual thoroughly enjoyable and yes we will always come back .
What an amazing venue. Our beachfront table was wonderful, our server really knew his menu and was attentive without being obtrusive. We both very much enjoyed our meals and wine, and felt that the value of the entire experience was good for the money.
Great location and the food was good. Prices seem about right considering the boat ride to the island. A little disappointed that when the entrees were delivered they were not explained again what was prepared. They had some unique purees and sides and it would have been reminded what was being served. That’s what’s done at the better restaurants. Food was very good. Drinks were decent. Desert was good until we received the cake flight. It was great except the tiramisu was actually the carrot cake with tiramisu frosting.....gross! The waiter removed it from the check but really the only blemish on the meal. I had the flank steak and my wife rhebcobia. Both excellent
Tremendous food, service and atmosphere can’t be beat
Service was just OK. Everything else phenomenal.
Filet was more medium than medium rate. The veggies were off color and under cooled. The mashed potatoes were good. Skirt steak better than filet but too rare. The onion rings were best part of meal (outstanding!) the wedge salad was different with fruit and excellent.
Everything from the ferry ride to the ambiance to the food and service was excellent! Always a favorite and must visit for me.
