Latitude Bar & Grill in Times Square is the place to go before a show, or just to enjoy a night out on the town with friends or coworkers. The cozy environment is intimate enough to allow you to enjoy friendly conversation with those you love, and it is homey enough to encourage you to meet new friends. The bartenders at Latitude Bar & Grill are among the best in the business and are always happy to whip up your favorite drink.
If you are ready for a great burger, place your order and specify exactly how you would like it to be cooked. The chefs at Latitude Bar & Grill aim to please, and take pride in every entree served.
Vibrant bar for a quick drink after work. It gets VERY loud in here, so if that's not your scene I would recommend picking another place. I've only seen the 1st floor, so I'm not sure if the other levels are any better.
Not a restaurant. Mediocre bar food. Drinks weren't even that good.
This place is perfect for after work, a quick bite before a show or game or just because. Happy hour prices are great! There are few places in te city that offer $5 happy hour drinks and Latitude does; which by the way were not watered down at all. And to my surprise the food was good. It was your typical bar food, nachos, burgers, fries, sandwiches, etc...... We ordered the crab cakes, buffalo chicken sliders and veggie sliders and everything was delicious!
This is a great afterwork spot. There are 3 levels. There's a pool table on the second floor and a rooftop that is really nice hangout. The happyhour drink specials are great and their fries are terrific. The wait staff nice and attentive. To ensure a table you should make a reservation.
After I made a reservation online, I arrived to learn this is a 21-and-up bar. No mention of that was included on the website/invite site. Then, when I indicated I had a reservation for four, I was told they had no recored of my reservation. I then show them my confirmation received via email. They then told me it would be a few minutes before they could get a table ready. I responsed that this wasn't going to work out and we were leaving to find somewhere else that wanted our business. We walked down the street and across the corner to a nice brasserie, were seated immediately & had a nice dinner after which we still made our 8:00 show.
I would not recommend Latitude Bar & Grill to anyone unless you simply want a lively bar scene.
Went on a first date here and it was almost perfect. The second floor was a little too noisy for a first date but the lighting and ambiance was still very romantic. The food and drinks were superb and VERY reasonably priced. Seriously, check the menu. Large portions. I appreciate that there was different floors because each floor seemed to have a different vibe. The first floor was definitely the after work party spot, meanwhile the second floor was full of 2 people parties and a small splash of people cruising the bar. The third floor looked awesome but it was closed off. I will surely be going back to this place in the near future.
This is not a Restaurant that's a BAR with a lot of Noise more than 100DB where it's difficult or even impossible to talk. I'll never coma back again and I'm not recommending it. Don't understand why this Bar is in the OpenTable list???
The food here was very good, although not really good enough to make up for the very poor service. And by Manhattan standards, the pricing was very reasonable. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time and never came back to make sure we had everything we needed. Once the bar crowd started showing up they turned up the music so loud that we had to scream at each other across the table and even then couldn't really hear each other.
The food and service was really good. We didn't know it wasn't a place for kids when we made reservations, but they still accommodated us.
Fun happy hour scene! Crowded but not overly crowded. Happy hour prices are decent.
I picked this as a pre-theater meal, as it described itself as follows: "On our 1st floor you can dine to our full menu . . . while relaxing at a table or booth by the fireplace." When I arrived with my 15 year old stepdaughter, I was told that on Thursday through Saturday nights, they operate only as a bar and no one under age can enter. I was upset and asked to speak to a manager, as it was too late to find an alternative and if that was the case, they shouldn't allow reservations on a dining site for those nights (or should have a disclaimer). The manager was wonderful and found us a place on the upper floor where we could eat. The food was good quality bar food, with good service; only complaint was it was very noisy.
NICE PLACE FOR HANGING, DRINKING AND DANCING,CELEBRATING BIRTHDAY WITH FRIENDS
NOT ROMANTIC,IT WAS VERY QUIET FOR VALENTINES DAY AND THEY PUSHED US TO FINISH EATING SO THEY COULD CLOSE THE SECOND FLOOR WHERE WE HAD A TABLE
THE MUSIC WAS GREAT THO AND I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK
The ambiance was very nice, mostly a bar area in the front with dining tables in the back. The wait staff seemed generally disinterested and not very friendly. I asked for a gin and tonic and got a margarita instead, no apology. I actually had to take the drink back up to the bar because it took forever between wait staff visits. We tried some of the entrees rather than the normal bar food. I think the bar food would have been a better bet. We are locals and in that part of town quite often, just thought we would give it a try. I hope our experience is not the norm for this place. Maybe just a fluke.
Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Everytime I come to the city I always come back to Latitude!
when I arrived they did not have a reservation for me-however they did make room
Atmosphere was very noisy due to pre St. Patrick's Day festivities. It's a local bar/ pub which didn't look as nice as it did in the photographs.
excellent on a saturday night when it is very quiet.. through the week gets the work crowds and it is crowded (good if you like that)... the apple tinis are worth going back for
Great spot for afterwork, ladies night or sports fans. My co-workers and I love the $5 martinis and great variety of appetizers to share during happy hour.
Mac and cheese wasn't as good as it looked, but cheesesteak spring rolls were to die for! I only wish you got more than 4 in an order. French onion soup was OK, burger was better.
We were in New York during the bustling New Years timeframe. We arrived at the restaurant and they had our table ready. The only problem was that we had a party of 5, and we were placed in a booth that really should have been for no more than 4 persons. It was very cramped, but everything else was full. The food was very good and served on-time. The wait staff seemed friendly and were responsive.
Noisy in the Bar as expected but the dining area was partioned off and somewhat quieter. Ther service was great - the food was good - they were very accomodating. I'd use it again.
I made a rez through OpenTable for this restaurant. When I got there, they didn't have my reservation and told me it was all booked for the evening. I wasn't a happy camper since the dinner/gathering was for my friend's birthday. Apparently the restaurant only works with OpenTable Mon-Fri so I'm not sure why OpenTable allowed me to book for Saturday. OpenTable even sent me email reminders everyday. I've never had this happen with other reputable restaurants in the past. Luckily, I spoke with the manager and he was able to find a table for us within half an hour. OpenTable and the restaurnat should get it together. After this incident, I don't think I'll be heading back there again.
This bar is a great place to catch a game. However, I had booked a table for 14 people for a dinner celebration. When we arrived, the table set for us did not accommodate 14 people and there were seats provided for less than half of us. They had set aside some bar tables for us...not dinner tables. We had to find our own seats to fit a few more of us until, luckily, another table was leaving and we were able to take their tables and chairs to join with the ones provided to us. Further, we had to place our orders at the bar. Very disappointing when you make dinner reservations for 14 and have seats for 5 provided.
Service wasn't great but when the server did come over to the table she was very nice. They would have made more money off of drinks and tip if the server visited more frequently. Overall it was a good experience. I would go back.
Felt more like a sports bar to me. I was expecting something fancier based on the description I read. The food choices were disappointing. Nothing that fresh or healthy on the menu. Our white wine was also served on the warm side. Most likely will not go back.
