I debated posting this review. Unfortunately we had a bad experience Saturday evening at Latitude 48. Numerous issues starting with the unfriendly hostess who seemed to ignore us after we were seated. Our 5 cocktails arrived several minutes apart including one that was "forgotten". I like my martinis cold, but felt the need for everyone to be served before toasting. Two of the same order came out timely, but then the remaining three orders were delivered much later; i.e., 10-15 minutes. We did not wait to eat, but still the food was just lukewarm. The manager stopped by; not at my request. Myself and my guests were honest with her about our experience. She asked if we were having dessert, which we were not. Perhaps she planned to offer a complimentary dessert, but no compensation was offered. Maybe the waiter or staff were having a "bad" night. We (locals) will not be back again in the near future...

Back in December I ate here with a coworker and the food and service were outstanding. Went back on 6/28 and was thoroughly disappointed. We waited almost 20 mins to place our order and had to grab the waitress as she went by. If we waited for her it is no telling how long we would have waited. When we were finally able to place our order it was over an hour and 20 minutes before we received our food. We watched 4 other parties that arrived after us get their food and leave before we were served. The waitress did not turn our order to the kitchen. When our food FINALLY arrived 1:45 later it was not hot. I ordered the elk tenderloin for $64 and was only given about 4oz of meat. It was 6 small bites. After the extremely long, wait, poor service, and poor value for the amount of food, my coworker and I decided we will never return to Latitude 48.

This seems like a lovely place however, all the food came out cold and the steaks and fish were overcooked. Nice wine list by the glass. Our server was late wonderful. The restaurants seem understaffed. We'll try though next time we're in whitefish

We spent about 4 days in the Whitefish and Glacier National Park area. Beautiful place to visit and I highly recommend Latitude 48 for your meal! We had dinner there our first night and my disappointment was, the other places we ate at could not come near the delicious, well crafted meal we had. Food was by far superior.i had the 16 oz Ribeye and it was seared and broiled to perfection. The best Rib Eye I had in quite a while. Then, there was the bread platter. The hot balsamic/butter and herb mixture was delectable! My husband enjoyed bison rib eye and he finished my ribeye. All we had to eat, we savored every bite down to the last bit. Our service was very attentive especially superior to the other places we had meals at in Whitefish!

The food here is amazing. We shared some small plates and each one was a taste treat. We saw some gourmet burgers being served to another table that looked delicious!
