We had a wonderful meal at Latitude 44 with a dear friend visiting from out the of town. Our server Daniel was attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly/approachable. All our starters and meals were great and generous - shrimp louie, beet salad, French onion soup, halibut, agnolotti and chicken. The atmosphere was upscale but comfortable, and quiet enough for a conversation. It’s a little pricey, but the value is there. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our experience at Latitude 44; the food was excellent and creatively prepared and presented. The service was outstanding. Ambiance is funky/weird/modern. Bring a sweater, though, as the restaurant is cold.

A great place for a date night, but wildly expensive for the locals that don't work for Mayo... Happened to go one day after the menu was changed and prices were increased 10-20% from the menu previously viewed online when the reservation was booked. If you don't care to budget, I'd recommend, the food was great (not quite $55/plate though), the cocktails were also good ($14 each), and surprisingly the wine by the glass was at a fair price. Service was very, very attentive. Theme is an interesting steampunk Martha Stewart blend. Music was all over the place, rap to pop to rock, it eventually became the conversation of our dinner. I'll be sure to tell tourists of the great food and cocktails, but disappointingly, I wouldn't recommend Latitude 44 to my friends or locals.

Latitude 44 is one of our favorite places in Rochester. The new menu is not as good and has to many seafood options. We had taken some friend for their first time to L44 and because of their allergies they were a little uncomfortable. $55.00 for a piece of chicken with no side seems excessive. We eat at Latitude 44 several times a month and the service and the drinks and cheesecake are always AMAZING. Yesterday June 20th was our only disappointing experience..

First time to dine here since the new ownership took over. It was easy to make reservations on line but a bit confusing when the confirmation from open table came from a different restaurant in town. Nice menu that could use more than one steak on it. Service was good, but not outstanding and it was slow service for a Tuesday night when it wasn’t very busy. Very good lobster bisque soup and good al dente noodles on the pappardelle. Will try again.

My French onion soup was so salty I could hardly eat it and then the rest of our food had no salt and almost no flavor at all.

This is the 2nd year in a row that I chose Latitude 44 for my Birthday dinner, and we were not disappointed! I’m kicking myself for not taking note of our server’s name (drats) as I recognized him from being our server the previous year; what are the odds?! We shared an order of their infamous Jackfruit “Crab” Cakes. They were quite delicious. We ended up ordering the same entre and both LOVED it!!! The Seafood Perlou is an amazing take on jambalaya but far more luxurious in quality and amazing seafood throughout (including mussels, scallops, etc)! WOW!!!!! (yes, I did Google the differences between perlou and jambalaya but this review is based on my own ‘palate’ and I am NOT a professional food critic) REGARDLESS, it is an amazing dish at Latitude 44! The Chocolate Mousse (for dessert) cannot be matched. It must be savored one spoonful at a time, no talking, just placing all focus on the smoothness and flavor . . . YUM!!! It’s quite an experience! Latitude 44 is a fantastic place with impressive personnel and incredible food! THANK YOU for making my Birthday dinner a wonderful experience!
