My French onion soup was so salty I could hardly eat it and then the rest of our food had no salt and almost no flavor at all.

This is the 2nd year in a row that I chose Latitude 44 for my Birthday dinner, and we were not disappointed! I’m kicking myself for not taking note of our server’s name (drats) as I recognized him from being our server the previous year; what are the odds?! We shared an order of their infamous Jackfruit “Crab” Cakes. They were quite delicious. We ended up ordering the same entre and both LOVED it!!! The Seafood Perlou is an amazing take on jambalaya but far more luxurious in quality and amazing seafood throughout (including mussels, scallops, etc)! WOW!!!!! (yes, I did Google the differences between perlou and jambalaya but this review is based on my own ‘palate’ and I am NOT a professional food critic) REGARDLESS, it is an amazing dish at Latitude 44! The Chocolate Mousse (for dessert) cannot be matched. It must be savored one spoonful at a time, no talking, just placing all focus on the smoothness and flavor . . . YUM!!! It’s quite an experience! Latitude 44 is a fantastic place with impressive personnel and incredible food! THANK YOU for making my Birthday dinner a wonderful experience!

We had a great experience beginning with our cocktails, which were expertly crafted. The crab cake appetizer was delicious and different with the addition of jackfruit. I had the French onion soup, which was wonderful. We went in different directions with our entrees; I had walleye, and my wife had filet mignon. The wine suggestions were spot on and paired very well with our entrees. I ended with a carajillo for dessert. Everything was superb.

Creative food. Fun glam decor. However all food served was tepid or almost cold. Also the server did not know how to serve the shared sides and the serving utensils he brought when we requested them were inadequate. I do not want to discourage this restaurant, but I would encourage them to step up their game. This is a wonderful addition to Rochester dining and a welcome alternative to the typical fare of flat bread/pizza, chicken wings and burgers. We will definitely be back and I would encourage others to give them a try.

First time here. Would go back again. Daiquiri of the day (blackberry) was excellent. Jackfruit "crab" cakes were unexpectedly delicious. Walleye was perfectly cooked and moist. Seafood Perlou was tasty but would have liked a touch more seafood in it. Lemon sorbet has great taste and texture.

Food was excellent as always. Malcolm did a great job checking on us & making suggestions on how our meals should be prepared. Looking forward to the next time we get to eat there.
