Always spectacular! Roberto and Rita are beautiful souls and it is reflected in all that occurs at Latin Bites. Did I say spectacular? SPECTACULAR!
Dined with the wife. The tequeños were exclentes! A great way to start your meal, especially when combined with a pisco sour!
Regular spot for us. Good food & service. Generally quiet, no waiting. We always go back.
Birthday celebration
Staff didn't kept buffet table well stocked with main dishes.
The Paella was extremely spicy. I couldn’t finished it.
Wonderful staff, ambiance and food, will definitely be back to try more dishes.
I loved the ambiance and the service was great! I highly recommend.
We have a tradition of visiting Latin Bites during HRW every year; this was our third year in a row and it did not disappoint. Between the four of us, we sampled just about everything on the HRW menu and the consensus was unanimous that the food was spectacular. Can't wait for HRW 2020!
Stuck in a hidden corner of a strip center, this little gem was a little tough to find because our GPS had us turning onto the cross street which just led us to a condo complex. We called and finally found them. They were very cordial and welcomed us by opening the door. It's a nice restaurant but there are only tables and they aren't especially comfy and there's not a lot of ambiance BUT the FOOD IS AMAZING! Wow...full of flavor and obviously prepared fresh not sitting in the refrigerator ready to heat up. We've only been to one other Peruvian restaurant in Houston but this one was far superior. The empanadas are very different. I don't think they are fried and they are hand made! I had the chicken and cilantro rice which sounds a little boring but MY OH MY...it was packed with vegetables and the most amazing well seasoned rice I've ever eaten. My husband had a tenderloin of beef dish that was very hardy and full of flavor too. The drinks were great and the chocolate cake with whipped cream fillings and raspberries was out of this world! The service was slow but the server was constantly running (even to open the door for us when we left) and there was only 1 other table there as we dined very late. I think it just took a long time because everything was freshly prepared. Well worth the wait regardless.....DELISH!
The food is fantastic! The wait staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and right there when you need them, but never over anxious. We lo e this place!
We always order the Peruvian Ceviche and it is great! I also love the Pisco Sour. Last time we ordered the Tenderloin Chimichurri--it was okay, flavorful, but my husband thought the meat was too chewey. We love the Wed night half price bottle of wine tradition. Overall, it is a reliable favorite.
Restaurant week
Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Houston due to assortment of ever changing appetizers and entrees.
Ceviche was spectacular as was the tres leches. I ordered the lomo Saltado and while it tasted fine, this is not a well composed dish that should be offered under “signature dish”. This is a very casual dish that I suspect is usually made of leftovers in a Peruvian home. So it Tasted good, but too casual and informal for an entree at this price point. Otherwise a good meal and experience.
No many places in Houston for Peruvian food, this is a good place.
Birthday dinner, full menu: drinks, apps, salad, entrees, dessert and coffee. So much to try. Coming back soon for more.
They have the best Pisco Sours and Ceviche in Houston and lots of other authentic Peruvian dishes. Its a small restaurant and the service is good.
The food was great! The tres leches INCREDIBLE
We love this restaurant. Had a lovely birthday dinner there for a party of 10. We enjoy introducing our friends to this wonderful place,
I took a couple of friends from Italy based on a reference from someone at an art gallery. It was quite nice and everyone was happy with the experience. The Peruvian range of flavors was unique to us and we decided we'd return sometime.
Very nice restaurant with great food and service. Emphasis is on dishes from Peru and South America. Wine list is also very strong. We were seated promptly and our waiter helped us make knowledgeable selections from the menu.
Great food and atmosphere.
Great neighborhood spot with lots of culinary options
Our waiter was great, made good suggestions on sharing appetizers and wine, food was terrific and yes, we would go back for sure
Excelente lugar
La comida es representativa de su país. Muy buen sazón y sabor!
Ricas causas, cebiches y tiraditos.
Los piscos sabrosos y de postre todo!!
Delicious food, great service & amazing flavors! What’s not to like?
They made us feel so special. We were celebrating our anniversary. The service was spectacular! The food was delicious! I love his place. This is the top Peruvian restaurant in HOUSTON!!
Highly recommend for Peruvian and South American food! Excellent food and service. We will be back again!
The waiter was very attentive, the food was great .
Very flavorful
Delicious food and the ambiance was that of a great Latin restaurant. The food is delicious and the portions are big. We will return!
Good food the service need more attention
I was there for more than 25 minutes waiting for a waiter. Plus, I waited for 20 min more for my food. The best part was the food but they took too much time to take care of us.
The restaurant was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up with a couple large parties. Cleanliness and tidiness were not as we remembered. The restaurant had a dismal air, servers were awkward in conversing and inconsistent in attention to details lile refilling water or checking on us. They stuck us in a dark corner while the rest of the place was empty. Food was delicious. That was about the only great thing.
We were disappointed not to see our favorite octopus dish, we've had it several times on previous visit. Despite the absence of the octopus dish, we enjoyed our lunch. Escabeche was delicious. Andre was a wonderful and efficient.
Started with the trio of beef tacos. They were delicious. Followed up with Paella and the Churrasco. both were cooked very well. The Tacu-Tacu and Fried Yuca Sticks were really good too. The server was stretched a bit thin, but the food all came out great.
They really need to work on their food. They use the same ingredients for all the dishes and name them differently. They add spicy to ceviche to a point where you can’t taste the fish. I hope they can change the ceviche recipe to something that is more enjoyable. Lastly, $60 for 2 ceviches, 2 sides and 2 teas, I think is too much especially with what I mentioned above. Nice concept but they REALLY need to re-think their menus/recipes.
Food is divine!! Service is excellent!
Date night
Great Latin food by way of entrees. Very delicious arroz con mariscos and lomo saltillo.
Seating in restaurant not very comfortable for someone with back issues.
Desserts not good. Wish they’d step that up.
