L’ ATELIER is inspired by childhood memories of home-cooked meals at the owner’s grandmother's farm.
Food lovers, we are a steakhouse " à la Française,” where a chalkboard menu highlights local fish & world’s class meats from France and beyond including USDA Prime Black Angus, Japanese Wagyu (Kobe and Kagoshima), Australian Wagyu beef, Iberico black pig, free-range lamb, duck, and dry-aged Black Pearl beef.
From the ocean, try our Kihada tuna steak of sashimi quality, mahi-mahi as fresh ceviche or crusted with fresh herbs, and our lobster linguini in a homemade creamy lobster bisque.
Vegetarian friends, you haven’t been forgotten and try our vegetarian risotto prepares minute just for you.
Our cocktails are crafted by our skilled mixologist, and our wine list features over 70 varieties.
Make sure to leave room for L’Atelier's signature dessert or the Chef’s special dessert.
This unique venue welcomes family and friends from Monday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

    Alexandre, the owner, is truly passionate about his food and ensuring you have the best experience! He and his staff are so attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. This was the best restaurant meal we’ve had in as long as we can remember. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they were so gracious to celebrate with us by lighting up her dessert and singing in her honor - and gave her a lovely gift which was unexpected. Thanks to the L’Atelier team for making the evening so special. We want to go back tomorrow!

    The absolute best dinner experience in Orient Bay. I would eat here every single night if I could. The owner personalizes your time at the restaurant and makes you feel comfortable and important. 10000/10 will go every time we are here!

    De eigenaar van het restaurant doet het erg goed en is zeer gastvrij, bediening is wat teveel en erg gehaast, als je glas nog half vol is komen ze al om de haverklap vragen of je nog wat wil drinken....lief maar wat overdreven, daarnaast zou het fijner en gastvrijer zijn om de wijn aan tafel in te schenken. De voor gerechten waren echt erg lekker, de hoofd gerechten ( wij hadden beide een vlees gerecht ) waren niet bijzonder, erg veel vet randen aan het varken. Prijs / kwaliteit vonden wij niet in balans.

    Hands down, the best restaurant on Saint Martin! The ribeye was of the highest quality, and moreover succulent with every bite! Returning again at the end of this week!

    No ocean view, rocky foot access, unlit beachfront parking. Seating with a panoramic view of the gazebo. Alex, the owner is amazing! Servers are knowledgeable and engaging. Best passion, fruit prosecco, and Foie Gras ever! The caramel chocolate desert was exceptional! Would definitely visit again 🥂🇫🇷🇸🇽

However, we are quite puzzled by the 3-star rating you gave, especially considering your very positive comments. Also, we noticed your mention of "No ocean view, rocky foot access, unlit beachfront parking." We would like to clarify a few points: Our restaurant is not advertised as an oceanfront venue, so an ocean view is not part of the experience we offer. The village square where our restaurant is located is not rocky but beautifully covered with white gravel, providing a pleasant and safe walking surface. While the beachfront parking may be less illuminated, there are several other public parking areas nearby that are well-lit and free of charge. See you again 🙏🏻
