The food was absolutely incredible, one of the best meals I’ve had in the city to date. The service was impeccable, and the overall dinner was a lovely occasion.
L'atelier was nothing short of brilliant. The Evolution tasting menu may be a bit pricey but you will certainly get your money's worth as it comes with plenty of food! Each dish was a work of art and had superb taste. The wagyu and duck we had for our entrees and the chocolate mousse and chantilly dessert mushroom however, were truly magical. The staff were nothing short of excellent and provided white glove service the entire night. L'atelier was an exquisite culinary journey that I would recommend to anyone.
Wonderful experience as always. Andriana and Ebru were helpful and welcoming and made the evening even more special. Was our first time ordering a la carte and the selections and presentation was perfect for us and our guests. Can’t wait to return!
Fantastic as always. We took my niece from Milan to celebrate my husband’s birthday and she said, “this is the best place in the world.” I’ve always known it. The most amazing food and wine, Satomi takes such good care of us, it hands down the best dining experience in New York City and keeps us coming back time and time again.
We had such an amazing experience! Everything was perfect, our server, the qine, the table and the food. I cant say enough about how wonderful everyone was to us while were there. This is a very special place.
Recommended to everyone who can afford it.
Great service and food. This place never ceased to bring us joy and surprise during our past visits. The food were well seasoned with charming presentation. The desserts were artistic and well balanced between different flavors. This restaurant definitely deserves multiple revisits and would always goes top of our recommendations to anyone looking for fine dinning.
The food, the service, the ambience, everything was perfect. Dined here for my husband's birthday and every touch was magical. Service was flawless, our server, was there every-time we needed something without us even asking. Food was flavorful and exciting. So happy we came tonight, what a beautiful evening. Thank you to everyone who made this night special.
Wow!!! This restaurant was way above my expectations. I was blown away by the service, the food, the presentation. I loved that you can choose from both from both the tasting portions and full portions.
The ambiance is modern and vibrant. If you sit at the bar you will always be engaged either in a conversation with the servers or by the view of the kitchen. I will go again and again and again.
Oh! And if you are in the mood for just dessert, go and order all of them. They are beautiful and tasty.
Just exceptional, the food was so delicious, thank you so much!
Food was out of this world tasty. Outstanding overall experience.
Celebrating our 29th anniversary with a beautiful dinner experience. Christophe Bellanca and his team took us where food meets art. Bravo!
Everything was incredible! The service was outstanding, so much attention to detail and so friendly. The food also stellar. We loved the fall menu; we even added the white truffle spaghetti for a pasta course. Highly recommend.
This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I wanted to do something very special for my girlfriend's birthday and they definitely delivered. The menu was so innovative. We tried at least 10 dishes and every single bite was absolutely delicious. The wine recommended by sommelier was perfect for our taste and accentuated the food perfectly. The staff was so accommodating, eager to please and attentive. We never had to ask for anything, our glasses were always full and the bread basket as well. We even had a personal card waiting for us from the chef and got to take a picture with him after. They brought us a complimentary birthday dessert and even comped us drinks in the lounge after the meal. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful the experience was and how well we were treated. Their two Michellin stars are very well deserved.
Always exceptional food and service! Recommend!
What an amazing dining experience! The food is beautiful and so full of flavor, service so warm and on top of things. The restaurant is gorgeous, very pricey but excellent for a special evening. Told them we were there for a birthday. They had a card waiting for us and a special desert, I couldn’t have asked for better.
2-star Michellin, with the heritage of “The Chef of the Century” this place is a must try, if you enjoy tasting fine dinning and French cuisine this is for you. They have so many options, from multiple tasting menus to a regular menu, this place is great for big groups and eaters with restrictions. If you are interested in tasting Foie Gras, here you will fine variety and world class quality.
the food was amazing and a very well presentation
it was very tasty
you have to try
The setting was perfect, the staff excellent and the food amazing. Yes, it’s expensive, yes it’s worth it!
The food at L’Atelier was outstanding. We ordered from the Flavors of Autumn menu and each ordered different things so that we could taste as many different dishes as possible. Every dish was fantastic. The sommelier recommended a perfect bottle of white burgundy to pair. We were there for my birthday and were greeted with a signed card from the chef and received a special dessert course - lovely touches.
We found the counter seating and associated service to detract from the overall experience, however. The way in which it is set up requires the server to lean in and reach across the counter, sometimes awkwardly, into your space to change out courses, plates and silverware. It also means that the server has to pay attention to the diners on either side of you at the same time. At other restaurants in this class, a team of servers typically attend to your needs, whether explaining the courses in detail, refilling your water, or replacing your napkin while you visit the restroom. Our service was not at that level and we struggled at times to get the attention of our server.
Totally recomended, was a great, great experience
Outstanding; World Class Experience. The Chef is repecting the history of Mr Robuchon, and simultaneously putting his interpretation on many new & exciting dishes. This is Michelin Three Star Food, Wine, Service & Experience
Excellent food and service.
Wonderful flavor combinations
Best Meal I’ve ever had. Food was incredible, staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.
Everything about the experience was stellar. The ambience was beautiful and the meal was expertly crafted. Probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The prices were expensive, but compared to other places I’ve been it was far more worth it.
spectacular food and service. was not expecting so much bar sitting, but it was very pleasant and like a show to see into the beautiful kitchen. So many chefs! beautifully prepared food! Portions were small but surprising filling! Loved it!
Sublime experience, exquisite service and mind blowing food.
Special shout out to Margo for being so attentive and for arranging a tour of the kitchen and meeting chef Christophe.
A memorable experience!!
Fantastic food and a great restaurant.
It was my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious and the service very attentive. It was very nice for the staff to bring a birthday dessert with the candle and song.
I like the fact that the restaurant has prix fixe menus but also some à la carte propositions just in case. This helped for our 6YO son to find a suitable plate.
Only thing is I am French and like to pair my wine with the food and my taste, while the sommelier really pushes to recommend his own wine so we had to insist to take our own decision. And the wine was so delicious (large choice).
Overall my husband was really happy and the whole family very satisfied.
Amazing vegetarian tasting menu
Family visiting from overseas
Amazing next level food
It was sublime
Outstanding food and service, well ahead of every other L’Atelier. This is secretly one of the best restaurants in NYC
The best restaurant in NYC. Consisten high quality, gracious service, an overall experience. Great food, great wines by the glass. Congratulations! Better than the Parisian cousin. Will be back
The restaurant ambience was amazing. The prices were exorbitant for what you got. Our bill was $385.00 for dinner for 2. We each had a drink ($22 for 2oz pour which could have been more generous) before dinner, ordered only a main entree (not chefs menus), and a bottle of wine. No appetizer, no dessert. Cheapest bottle of white Cote d’ Rhône was $145. Lobster entree ($44) was ok, looked like a lobster tail portion only to find out there were 3 pieces of lobster interspersed with large slices of tofu. There were many, many servers and 2 sommeliers so attention was great but could do nicely with less staff and less expensive meals. Veal chop ($66) was very good. Bread was delicious. Would definitely go back for a drink but would spend dinner money elsewhere.
Average. Food was quite nice, service was mechanical and price was $650 for two. My date commented halfway through that we should get pizza afterwards.
Simply, the best food and experience I’ve had in a long, long time. It’s a must!
Exceptional creations and superb presentations. I was transported to some otherworldly culinary experience with each dish (and I ate all vegetarian). I met the executive chef Christophe afterwards - an incredibly gracious man, so focused on his work and meticulous with what he does. Every offering was so beautiful and delicious, I honestly do not want to eat
anywhere else now. Really worth the trip.
