L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon
We have been to several Robuchon locations. This one was the most unique and the best. Very complex and interesting flavors, fantastic service and fresh delicious food. Try it, you won’t be disappointed
It is early days with this place but we would have expected better service - it was very busy and the staff seemed overwhelmed. They were trying and were nice but there was lack of organization - more on the part of the service staff than the kitchen. The food was generally very good but at times our food was not as hot as it should have been, meaning that it had sat in the kitchen waiting for pickup. Given the price, the service should be better. And given the reputation, the whole experience should have been better.
Loved the bar seating concept, it was very intimate. The food was exceptional, each plate was artfully presented and the quality and flavor of each ingredient was celebrated in each dish. Service was incredible and the ambience was intimate, very upscale but never stuffy. We’ll be returning to explore the regular menu as we experienced the Art Basel menu which was absolutely delicious.
Best in class in Miami
Lovecthe design . Food was fabulous . Service wasn’t as good
Interior is beautiful, nearly identical to its namesake in NYC. Attentive service and good food. Small portions are way overpriced. Nothing was exceptional except the bill.
The food, service and experience I’ve had here is like no other. I love the bar seating as I am one of those diners that likes to see the well oiled machine kitchens should be. Hearing the ‘oui’ from the cooks as Chef Gregory Pugin commands his team to perfection. Love the ambience and decor.
Now let’s talk food. To be honest everything we ordered was beautifully thought out and ridiculously delicious. L’hamachi was light, fresh and oh so tasty till the last bite. My GF had one of Robuchon’s signature dishes L’Oeuf de Poule (Egg) and it was really to die for. The egg perfectly runny, salmon and caviar were fresh and delicate. It was truly amazing.
For our main course I had Le Chevreuil (Venison) Cooked in a cigar leaf with poached pear, blue cheese, beets and a grand veneur sauce. The venison itself was cook to perfection and practically melted in you mouth. My partner had Le Boeuf. We couldn’t figure out which of the two were better. Beautifully tender slices of beef with a spice of Foie in between. Simplicity here never falters on amazing flavors.
All in all I would dub this restaurant the best in south Florida by far. With Chef Gregory, one of Joël’s Protégés, at the helm there can only be great things to come.
The food was excellent, leveled with Michelin starred restaurants I have attended in the US and in France. By far the most refined and elaborate cuisine in Miami. The sommelier, Emmanuelle, was both very knowledgeable and very nice and the service was perfect mostly due to the attention that was given to us by Bella. That was our second dinner there but will not be the last! Congratulations chef Gregory for a great dinner and thank you to Samantha for her kind attention.
Tasting menu very expensive for what it offers.
best restaurant in Miami
Unbelievable craftsmanship and attention to detail in each dish. Hard to knock this great restaurant and staff for anything but gave it 4 stars on Value because the plates were so small; 5 stars for everything else. Will absolutely return.
Excellent restaurant! Like the others Ateliers! NY and Paris!
Excelente restaurante. Una perla en Miami. El diseño es increíble. La comida del más alto nivel. Muy recomendable
Fantastic restaurant!! Very nice servers and food is amazing!
Outstanding food and service
Amazing elevated dining experience!
We had the Evolution tasting menu, which was a wonderful choice. Everything was prepared with precision, had flavorful and complex taste, while served by an outstanding staff. They will be first in Miami to attain a Michelin star.
We have ben to AJR in Paris and the New location in Miami is as outstanding
Very good. Food is always great at Robuchon!
Had to come a second time to try the dishes I didn’t have the first time. I can say, it was so worth it! Bringing more friends next time!
Lovely restaurant in the heart of Miami. Food was simply amazing. Not really sure why it seemed like a Sushi Bar style at the bar area where we ate. An interesting selection of wines
Food is great, service is kind. Just miss a waiting bar at restaurant
Unbelievable dining experience! Have been visiting Miami for 20 years every year! Beat restaurant I have dined in this city!
Unfortunately the Miami one has nothing to do with the one in Paris. After our order was taken, they came back to say they were out of what we had ordered. The white wine we chose was warm so we had to get another one. After taking our order for the deserts, same issue, they said they ran out of them....
We celebrated our 2 year anniversary and loved it! The food, the servers, the ambiance, it was all fantastic. We ordered the fall menu and it was delicious. Top restaurant in Miami!
I was so impressed with everything. I’ve been to the Paris and NYC and they where wonderful. Food and service.
The best restaurant in Miami. Best quality and service. I
definitely recommend this amazing restaurant 100%
For a L'Atelier that has only been open a few months the experience conveys a Robuchon restaurant that has been running for years. Marlon my server has previously been with me at The Bazaar and instantly recognized me as I sat down. Presentation cadence and overall flavors were exactly on point. Definitely has the potential to surpass my best L'Atelier experience in Tokyo given time. The assistant general manager Samantha was very involved with the service and runs an extremely competent team. Also an exemplary Sommelier recruited from the Montreal location. A big win for Miami dining to have this degree of culinary experience available without having to jump on a plane.
Service was amazing but maybe a little too invasive in the beginning. We just wanted to enjoy our cocktail and chill a minute. Food was so delicately prepared and plated . The attention to details was superior . Food was incredible. Best dining in a while for us
It was a wonderful experience from the time we arrived until the time we left. The ambience was great and the service was amazing and attentive. They showed expertise in the menu and the wine. We ordered the evolution tasting menu and wine pairing. One of the best food journeys I have ever had! The food was excellently seasoned and the ingredients were fresh. The dishes were beautiful pieces of art, you felt guilty eating them. It was also amazing watching the kitchen staff, how fluid they moved and the precision they took to create the dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any foodie who wants a unique experience in dining. Will definitely come back!!
The food was exquisite. An amazing display of culinary artwork. The flavors were so unique and the wine pairing was absolutely perfect. One of the best restaurants I have eaten in. Truly outstanding
Food was good but sadly not as good as at other L’Atelier Restaurants around the world.
best rest in miami
Excellent. Not many places in Miami try to do the "Michelin" thing. Robuchon does. Small plates expertly done.
Had the privilege of dining at many of Joel Robuchon‘s L’Atelier restaurants around the world. This one is just as magical.
This restaurant will definitely put Miami on the map as a top contender for Michelin stars. I suggest a tasting menu but they also have the choice of à la cart items. The service was impeccable like a fine-tuned choreography of plates, aromas and illusion.
Your senses will be transported and heightened to a new level.
This place is a foodie lovers dream.
Starting with the Amuse Bouche it just kept getting better and better.
My daughter and I had to tasting menu. Exquisitely prepared and presented the flavors will bring a smile to your face.
Enjoy Because this truly is a very special place
Exquisite food ! Beautiful presentation! Excellent service! A wonderful culinary experience!
Food exquisite, excellent service, great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Be aware they do add a 20% gratuity & they add tax to total including the 20%.
My friend’s birthday and we both love French cuisine. One of the best meals of my life.
Fantastic to watch the artistry unfold before your tastebuds are delighted.
